These shoes look cool and feel good on your feet, but the sizing is wacky. Some reviewers say order a size down, others say order a half size down. I say order 3/4 sizes down. I wear 10.5 in almost every shoe on the planet, but after reading reviews I ordered a 9.5, which was a bit too snug, so I got a 10, which could be a little tighter. Other than that, they are comfy, have decent arch support (though a little unusual in shape) and are great for kicking around, but not for serious walking. The thing is, I was looking for a light canvas shoe for summer occasions when sandals are not the way to go, and every brand I have tried has pathetic arch support in their summer canvas shoes -- even brands that usually give great arch support. So this is a good compromise shoe for me, but a perfect shoe would have a bit more arch and substance.
These flip flops have a significant upward slope in the middle. Very unnatural feel. Had to immediately return them. It felt like I was walking with a tennis ball under my arch.
These flip flops are the best. Great arch support, no rubbing at the big toe, and they don't look like they just belong on the beach. This is my 3rd pair...the others are going strong, just wanted a dressier color!
Olukais are so darn comfortable. I m a minimalist shoe person most of the time, but that goes out the window when it comes to these. I wear an 11 to 11.5 street shoe in most brands and find that 11 s in Olukai s work great length wise. This particular pair has more strap and is therefore looser fitting than my Olukai Hokua s which are still my fave. Nevertheless, this leather pair is bomb and are keepers. If you have a beefy foot you ll be particularly pleased.
Amazing! These are the perfect marriage of good looks and ultra support & comfort. I couldn't be happier. The arch support and overall structure are perfect for people who have back issues and can't walk on foam flip flops all day. Worth the money!
Pretty comfortable shoe, breathes well. So far so good, not sure how durable it will be. Not a lot of support, but it's a casual shoe.
If you are a guy & tend to use the same shoes day to day These shoes are junk. While they are comfortable within a few weeks the sole started to show wear & the stupid sole made of leather actually tore about 6 weeks after I bought them. I would of sent them back but they where at that point my dumb shoes.
I have a pair of black and also a pair of the brown. I love them. I think I order a size larger and they fit perfect. The leather on the black pair is softer for some reason. The heal of the shoes were wearing down fast because the heal doesn't go all the way across the width of the shoes. I had a shoe repair store put on plastic inserts on the heals and they are wearing better now. I think this is a design flaw. I have two other pair of the OluKai top of the line flip flops and they don't have this type of heal wearing out problem.
I really wanted to love these flip flops. I have been wearing Soles for years, and was excited to try a new brand (to me) that looked a little less sporty but still offered support. They are really comfortable, but I find the traction isn't so great. In addition, the spot around the toe (right above it) still causes me a blister, and I have to wear a band-aid every single time I wear these. That isn't good at all. I still like the feel, the support, but with that, I can't be a strong supporter of these babies.
Really nice sandals. Super comfy. They run 2 sizes small. I normally wear a 10 shoe, but I needed a 12! Other than sizing issues I love 'em.
I looked at the reviews and thought this shoe was for me. When I got them, I thought they were cute. So I put them on and boy did they hurt my feet. Then I thought if I break them in, they'll be great. But to my dismay, they continued to break my feet in.
These are the most comfortable flip-flops ever made! They have a softer yet supportive cushy base with a good solid arch support. I have bony thin feet with high arch and most sandals/flip-flops do not fit or feel good to me. Teva can not compare to these flip-flops. They are definitely worth the money.
I've been wearing Ohanas for several years and find them to be very comfortable. Great arch support! However, this pair is uncomfortable and tighter in the thong area and straps across the top of the foot. I've been wearing them for a month and so far the comfort has not improved. Was the toe bed lengthened? I have very short, wide feet.
Very well made that fit any foot due to the Velcro strap. The mild arch support, flexibility and overall contour of the sole make this an exceptional sandal that never slips off the foot.
Love! I have these in black and red. They are very comfortable. The footbed is comfortable, even with the embroidery which I don't even notice. They are well made. Highly recommend!
Just got my OluKai Pahili and can't take them off! I have the OluKai suede mules from the fall and wore them every day. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I have flat, wide feet and comfort is first for me. These sandals are both comfy and cute! They are so well made. If you are the person who would rather have one good pair of shoes, than many cheap pairs...theses are for you!
Just got these and haven't worn them out of the house yet. But wanted to let you know that they do run a bit large. I normally wear a 9.5. It was too loose. So went with a 9 and I think that will work. Very comfortable!
So comfortable and so much better for my knees than the cute flips without arch support. These are not as cute as ones that are completely flat, but not bad at all.
My wife has been a dedicated ZAPPOS customer for years, but I had never shopped for shoes on line. I ordered a pair of OluKai Ohana. They are not FLIP FLOPS and they are supportive foot wear suitable for multiple occasions. A great shoe; great comfort; and great ZAPPOS service!
Easily one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned! I love the Nohea's! I wear a 10.5 in every shoe (for some reason, i wear a 12 in flip flops), so I ordered these in a 10.5. They arrived and were definitely 1 size too big. I exchanged them with Zappos for a 9.5, and they're just about perfect. Not sure why some are having issues with the size and some aren't, but they were definitely one size too large for me. When/if they ever wear out, I'll definitely be buying another pair! Excellent work, OluKai!
