I have been wearing cowboy boots for 30 years and have purchased every brand imaginable at every price range. These are my second pair of Old Gringo's and I will never purchase another brand. The are incredibly well made and super comfortable. My first pair are almost 3 years old and still look brand new. These have a great design and have a matted finish, which I usually don't like, but these look great with jeans.

Was hesitant to get the very pointed boots, but what the heck, if they aren't pointed, then they are just like any other black boot. These demand attention, and were flashy enough without any more color or fancy leatherwork. They fit snug on my left foot. I wore them all day, and they conformed to my feet. I really liked the low 10" and found it to be comfortable with jeans. I will get some more. And thanks to Zappos for the very prompt delivery!
Brands I'd also recommend: Lucchese

Nice boots. Great value. Not as comfortable leather as the higher end Old Gringo boots, but they are significantly less expensive. Still good styling and workmanship.

This is the most comfortable cowboy boot I ever tried on. I was hesitant because how pointy they are ordered half size larger, man are they comfortable. Love the leather soles too. Yippie ki yay!

About Old Gringo
Founders Yan Ferry and Ernie Tarut decided to combine Yan’s bootmaking and design skill with Ernie’s years of experience in leather manufacturing to create boots of superior style and quality. Thus Old Gringo was born. The first Old Gringo factory opened in 2000 with a collection of original, vintage and retro styles. These styles bridged the gap between western style and pure fashion.
Every Old Gringo boot goes through one hundred-ten individual steps, performed by skilled craftsman. This is a very time-intensive process, but the consistent application of these skills is required to make a superior quality boot. Old Gringo produces and tans their own leathers in colors, textures and finishes to meet the meticulous demands of their designers. After carefully selecting the finest grade of leather, the leathers undergo a detailed tanning process. Each of the next steps, from cutting the upper materials to assembling the insoles and outsoles are critical in the construction of the perfect boot.
