Best slippers ever. My Husband has had A pair of these for three yrs. I ordered them through A catalog and they are about wore out.We don't get that catalog any more and when he said he wanted a pair for his birthday I was Very Happy To Find Them Here ! N.C.F. Greer, S.C.

Feel great except in one spot The lining is very comfortable; however, you may notice in the picture that there is a seam midway along the sides of the slipper. This is where they have sewn in some elastic pieces so that the slipper can expand and contract. The thing I find mildly annoying is that this part of the slipper rubs against the sides of my feet. While it's not painful, it does detract from the overall comfort of the slipper. I am debating about whether to send them back. I already exchanged them once because I ordered the wrong size. Zappos was fantastic about the swap out.

I'm buying a second pair - I've had these "Old Friend" slippers for a few years and have loved them. Wear them all the time. Which means they looked a little abused. I need another pair just like the first. Great slippers.

Cushy comfort - These slippers are the best I've ever had. They are comfy and keep my feet warm. I think it was only five days after I ordered them that Zappos had them at my door.

Loved these house shoes - I liked these shoes so much I bought a second pair to keep on reserve. The thing I like best is that although they keep your feet warm, they never get hot. I also bought a pair for my son. I would highly recommend this shoe. Another reason I like this shoe is becase I have diabetes and I can never walk around without something on my feet. These shoes allow me to go to the mail box and things like that since they have a rubber sole that has good traction and is similar to a sneaker.
Brands I'd also recommend: hush puppy line with velcrow straps instead of laces

Old Friend's Romeo slippers indeed - I have Perpherial neuropothy and must have something on my feet always and I am home almost all the time. With my Romeos, my feet are very definitely comfortable and warm and the best part is they’re made in the U.S.A. I will absolutely buy another pair. Zappos were polite, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. Definitely a 5-Star performance.

Best slippers I ever bought!!! I bought these slippers for my husband and he said they were a little snug when he first got them, then a few days later, he realized he had not taken the stuffing out of the toes. Now they fit great (Duh). He said they are the nicest slippers he has ever purchased. The fit is true to size, and the construction is very well made. We will definitely purchase these again for personal use as well as gifts in the future.

Great indoor shoe - Like the Japanese I take off my shoes at the garage door and put on my Old Friend Romeos. Much more comfortable and relaxing. No noisy steps on my wife's beautiful hardwood kitchen floor. No tracking of mud/dirt into the house. It's a winner all the way.

Waiting on the Cold Weather - I was looking for some comfy, wide slippers to hang around the house with this winter. These slippers are as advertised. I had tried some Romiko, but they were narrow, even in the wide width. I wear a 12W and these fit.
