I was a little skeptical at first. I have purchased moccasins in the past and they all were too narrow, and the stitching looked as though it would come apart over time. But I can honestly say that I doubt that these will come apart. They are the most comfy moccasins (other than my 12 year old moccasins) that I have ever worn. They will work outside as well as just to lounge around inside. Believe you me, you will not be disappointed with this moccasin. And to top it all off, Zappos was right on the ball with shipping and the customer service dept was out of this world. If you do choose to purchase these moccasins, you will not be disappointed. If you are disappointed in any way shape or form, Zappos will take them back with free shipping both ways. How could you go wrong? Zappos, I love you! A happy Camper from Massachusetts.

I purchased these boots just before Christmas and they are beautiful. I haven't worn them outside yet but have around the house and they really are great. I love the color and they will look great with jeans or any casual pants. I would recommend these to everyone who wants something a little different and still look great. They rate a 5 all around.

I bought the Old Friend Margaret moccasin boots, and I love them. I love the fact that they have a non-skid bottom instead of regular moccasin bottoms. The suede is true to color, and the fit is good. They are extremely comfortable to use, especially the first time wearing the shoes, as compared to other shoes.

First of all, Zappos you guys rock! I ordered these yesterday, and got them this afternoon! The boots are so adorable. I love the color and the beads/peace sign on the side. So cute! They fit true to size, but may be a tad snug if you have wide feet. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, and can't wait to rock them with jeans/my suede jacket! I love this moccasin. It fits true to size if you want to wear it barefoot, if you want to wear with thick socks go 1/2 size up. Hard to get on at first but will stretch with wear. These are really stylish and fun.

I have different size feet. 6-6½ on my right foot and 6½-7 on my left foot. I ordered 6½ because there is no 7, and usually 6½ will fit both feet. When I tried them, one shoe fits me nicely on my right foot and too tight on my left. I tried to stretch the left one with ice. Hopefully it will work out because they are so cute and comfortable, although there is no arch support. If you are considering to buy these, order half size up to give you more room on the front so you can wear these with your stockings/socks.

If you like the fit and insole style of this shoe, you will also be comfortable in the Old Friend Tina. They have nearly identical sole construction. The style of these is similar to the Minnetonka Classic Fringed Boot Softsole, but the feel and fit are very different. I found these to be fairly smooth feeling on the inside, which is a big relief after trying on the Tina, but it does have some of the same design flaws as the Tina. The exposed stitching along the edge of the foot is irritating to the skin and occurs right at the point where my double-wide feet encounter the most tension from this narrowly constructed shoe. The Minnetonka soft sole booties are also constructed to be narrow, and both those and these are way too long for my feet. If I bought a smaller size, they'd be even tighter across the ball of my feet, and so I'll be returning both these and the similar looking Minnetonkas. Genuine leather shoes will stretch eventually to accommodate wider feet, but even after that my feet would be overhanging all of the protection of the insole and the outsole on either side. The outsole is rubber that looks like it's divided into three parts, but the stiffness feels exactly the same as a full rubber sole to me. Not soft or able to move with the feet at all. I like the ankle style of this much better than the classic Minnetonka bootie. The ankle is taller on this, and the lacing is much more secure. The Minnetonka has a lace going around the top of the boot and tying in front. Not very fitted or secure feeling when you have them tied on. Because there is no zipper as the Tina boots have, these feel much softer and more comfortable on your ankle skin. Just soft suede. The edge of the insole is an issue because there is a cliff at the edge of the foam, where the foam is exposed to your skin (which is a problem for me, as I'm allergic). Beyond that cliff is a gap (thin canvas material) followed by the leather lining for the ankle portion of the shoe. The wide gap will distort your foot and the exposed stitching will irritate your skin and cause callouses to form as protection. These shoes are therefore not as comfortable as you'd expect from high quality mocs, and they look softer and more natural in the picture than they feel on your feet. They are beautifully styled, though, and may make you happy if you have long, narrow feet and don't have skin sensitive to chemicals.

I have wanted a pair of moccasins for a long time and I am so happy with my purchase! They definitely are true to size so if you want to wear them with socks you will want to get them a half size larger. I got the chocolate color because I don't have any brown shoes and I am very happy with it. My only complaint is that the insole of one of the shoes is loose and I am going to have to glue it down better. Overall I am very excited about my purchase!

Cute shoe but when I tried these on at first they are very tight to get on between the top of your foot and the heel especially with socks then they don't have support to the edges of my feet the sole is like a narrow strip down the middle of the bottom of your foot :( It's like your feet hang over the sides. Your service is good! :)
