The absolute best pair of slippers I have ever worn. A lot of reviewers described the inside of these slippers as "fleece" and, given my experience with "fleece" sweatshirts, I was half-expecting the inside fur to be faux. Rest assured, the inside fleece is 100 percent sheep's wool -- and oh my word is it comfortable. These are the hard-soled version, so it takes a moment to get used to. But you can really feel the quality and the warmth. I have some sort of circulatory disorder where my feet are always cold, except when I wear these babies. An Old Friend, indeed. Note: order half a size bigger than you wear in an shoe. If not, it may still fit you -- but not how you'll want it to.

Took a while for the them to stop shedding. Big problem is that they keep your feet warm and heats up the rubber soles inside. My wife makes me toss them out of the room due to the smell of burning rubber.

This slipper is terrific! Soft, cushioned inside and sturdy enough to wear outdoors on occasion, even in wet weather. I ordered a ladies ten and they fit great. They do stretch just a little over time and the lining compresses, giving a little more room.

Wow...I'm a brand snob, and ordered $1000 worth of slippers from Ugg and others before I kept the Old Friend Bootees. I have a wide, high arched foot, and nothing felt like the glove I wanted my slippers to be...until I tried on the Old Friend Bootees. Now, each night here in the PacNorWest, my toes are the warmest parts of my body...thanks Old Friend!

I really like my Old Friend Bootee's. They became my favorites about 20 minutes after putting them on. My shoe size is 10.5, so with a pair of socks on, the fit is just right. They are soft and warm. The sole is very comfortable and I could tell immediately that it would not slip on wood or tile floors. They're so good when this pair wears out I will get another one.
