I have decided on these Old Friends over the Acorn "Bates Mule", and the UGG "Tasman" Although, the UGGs are the best looking of the three, they weren't very comfortable. There have no arch support and hurt my feet after a while. I have foot issues, so I need comfort first and warmth. These Old Friends go neck and neck with the Acorns for comfort. I went with these because the look a bit nicer and the sole seems more durable for outside use. These are very warm as well. Good arch and heel support. True to size, the other two ran a full size small.

I wear a 7 1/2 B and have wide feet and high arches. This shoe was very comfortable, but it does not have enough arch support for me. If I could put an orthotic underneath of the insole, it would be perfect. The toe box has lots of room. Unfortunately, I have to return them. (The box they came in indicated the insole was removable, but it was not.)

I absolutely LOVE these slippers! They are super comfortable and very well-made. The sole is substantial and the traction is good (no slipping on carpeted stairs in these babies!). I highly recommend them!!

In the beginning, the cost forced me to put off this purchase. I looked for several days for slippers at a reasonable price, but couldn't find a pair I was interested in. In the end, the expense was worth the money - at least for me. These slippers are extremely comfortable and I would purchase them again. They are very cozy and extremely comfortable.

I love these slipper shoes. They were super comfortable right out of the box. I wear a 5-1/2 and was glad I went up to the 6 instead of down to the 5. It’s so easy to slip them off when I want to curl up on the couch and just as easy to slip them back on to answer the phone or even for a quick run outside (if the snow’s not too deep). I could see going out in them in dry weather to run errands or visit neighbors. Zappos service was great, as usual. Reviews are very helpful in making good choices.

Comfortable right out of box! I bought these for my husband in replacement for ones he wore to pieces (style no longer available). These are wonderful, very sturdy sole and soft lining. He wears them constantly in the house and around the yard outside. I did buy a 14 instead of his usual 13 to be sure they were nice and roomy. Well worth the price.

Just what I was looking for... These are great slippers! I have looked long and hard for shearling slippers that I could go outside in without worrying. Here is what I would have liked to know before buying these: The suede upper is soft and pliable, not stiff. The sole is also easily bendable though it looks rather hard and inflexible in the photos. They have some weight to them, but not ridiculously heavy. The slipper is not as narrow as it looks in the photos - there is plenty of room in the toe-box. For me, this is a slipper only (just around the house) - I would never wear this out as a shoe, even to run errands. Normally, I wear a 7.5 or 8 depending on the manufacturer. Because of the comments I read, I ordered an 8. They're fine, but I could have ordered the 7. The 8 slides a bit on my foot unless I wear socks. These are so incredibly comfortable and warm - and no breaking-in period. I have ordered another pair because every time I find a shoe I like, the company seems to stop making them or something. I hope that Old Friend continues with this design.

Way too comfortable! Amazingly comfy slipper/shoes. Some arch support, so not like normal slippers. Also has a sole you can wear outside. But the fleece interior is soooo nice.

Perfect transaction - These slippers fit true to size. The sole is perfect for wearing outdoors and overall these are very, VERY comfortable. Perfectly adequate arch support. the fuzzy lining is incredible. When worn with pants, no one will know they're not real shoes. Easy to slip on and off. Zappos, like always, is INCREDIBLE when it comes to shipping. i received these in 48 hours. I’ve bought my last three pairs of shoes from Zappos; I don't see any reason to buy anywhere else.

Great product - Very comfortable. Nice & warm, but not overly so. Part over the top of the foot is a little less roomy, but then gives a bit with wear. Love the fit after a couple days. Normally wear an 8.5 shoe / 9 boot, but these I needed a 10 (men’s). Great footwear with ankle socks or barefoot.

Comfortable and great fit - I bought these for my husband, who is particular about his indoor footwear, and he loves these. Fit as advertised, and very comfortable. He has to remember to take them off before he goes to the car.
