My Dad has extremely wide and swollen feet. He removed the fuzzy innersole and found them to still be comfortable and fit his feet.

I ordered the Old Friend Adjustable Closure Bootie for my elderly father who is in a nursing home. In addition to a wide foot (EE), his feet/ankles swell so it is hard finding slippers and shoes for him. These slippers looked perfect for Dad. I placed the order with Zappos on a Monday night and the slippers were already at my house Tuesday when I when I got home from work! I was impressed with the quality of the Old Friend Adjustable Closure Bootie and my Dad loves them! They keep his feet nice and warm and with the adjustable strap, they are easy for him to get on and off. We both couldn’t be happier. I would definitely recommend them! This was my first time ordering from Zappos - they were excellent to work with!

Wonderful slippers -
These were bought as a gift for my elderly father. They are lightweight, yet very durable. The lining is very soft and warm. My dad said they fit very well and are quite comfortable.

A winner!
I purchased these for my father after trying a couple of UGG slippers. My dad is not very easy to please, but he has been wearing these slippers exclusively and has put his walking shoes away. The velcro closure makes putting these on much easier, even over swollen feet. Thank you Zappos and Old Friend!

Old friend slipper -
I bought these for my husband. This is his second pair. He is disabled and has many foot leg problems. He says that these are soft and comfy while giving him enough support to walk around the house. His hands are also a problem so the velcro is great.

Finally a good fit -
After trying a pair of 16 medium (which were too narrow), ordered a 16 wide and worked perfectly for my husband and his sometimes swollen feet. The adjustable strap is an added comfort. I recommend this shoe for anyone who needs warm feet and has any foot problems.

My son is a size 5 and I thought I would buy big so he'd have some growing room. These shoes just about fit him in a size 6! Comfy and good quality, but they are expensive for a shoe that fits a toddler just about now! I like the easy on zipper but the picture on the shoe is corny.

Nursing Home Favorite - Five Star General -
This Bootie is a favorite for my wheelchair bound son. I can count on comfort along with the velcro strap allowing ease in putting on. Nice for the staff at the nursing home and quality and looks are also great!

My father-in-law got a pair for his birthday. My husband liked them so much that his dad bought him a pair for Christmas. Then my brother got jealous and wanted a pair and today I ordered a pair for my uncle!! They are terrific!!

Best comfort for my old tired feet -
I am diabetic, have psoriatic arthritis, my feet swell and shrink. I bought a pair a year ago and no have bought a second pair. These are comfortable and the adjustable feature is great for swelling and shrinking feet. I have worn these out to restaurants, church, shopping, and just around the house and out in the yard. Great Old Friend.

I was looking for something warm and comfortable to wear around the house in the winter. These fit the bill. The sheepskin on the inside makes my toes feel snuggly. They're also easy to get in and out of. However, I usually wear a size 12; these were most comfortable in a size 14!
Most comfy slipper EVER -
My husband says that nearly every night when he comes home and puts on his warm, fuzzy slippers. We'd ordered another pair, a moccasin style, but the lace broke less than a month after we got them. So we ordered these as a replacement - and he says they're much more comfortable than the others were - and no chance of laces breaking. It should last years and then we'll get another pair. Wonderful slipper.

Great Bootie!
I bought this bootie for my 90-year-old father, who uses a walker and is not very steady on his feet. I bought one size larger than he usually wears and the booties fit perfectly. They are very comfortable, warm and not slippery on tile floors. The velcro closures allow for a custom fit. He is very happy with them. Delivery was overnight--unbelievable. I had previously shopped in local shoe stores. but didn't find anything as nice as this. Now my husband wants a pair.
