Old Friend

Absolutely great shoe! Thick liner, so it is a snug fit... you may want to go a size wider than normal.....but a toasty warm, well constructed shoe. Also, kudos to Zappos service! My original shoe I ordered was a 14E... and they accidentally shipped a M width. I called them, and a real human answered right away, and overnighted me a pair in the wider width, without charging my credit card. They also emailed me a prepaid shipping label to send the old shoes back....so all I had to do is find a UPS drop off point, which happened to be across the street! Great customer service, Zappos! you deserve the credit on that... in today's day and age that is a true rarity!

I wanted a well made slipper for around the house and going out to get the morning paper. These fit the bill perfectly. They are well made, warm and my new "old friend".

The slippers are so soft and inviting... I never got to wear them, however, because I ignored the reviews!! Definitely order a 1/2 size up.

My husband loves them. They are similar to a pair of Uggs he got 5 years ago. Now the Uggs version is twice the price. The Old Friend Bootee is just as comfy and cozy.

Cute shoe but it's going back for a half size larger. It was too short and too snug everywhere except the heel. I hope the larger size doesn't slip off the heel.

These slippers are too tight in the toe box. I wear a 6 1/2, and these were very snug. Also, the toe box narrows down more than is visible in the photo.

My Old Friend slippers that I recently purchased deserve this review. 5 stars aren't enough to describe how well made and comfortable they are! Don't hesitate, and order now! My favorite slippers.

Zappos is great! I thought the shoe was okay though. In the picture the sheep wool looks a lot better than the actual product. On my shoe there is no sheep wool sidewall but, in the pictures there is. It's just the bottom that has the wool. But it is a lot cheaper than Ugg making it have solid value. If you're looking for Ugg quality here, you won't find it. I do enjoy wearing it to school on lazy days and in the house.

This is the first time that I ever ordered shoes online. The slippers are decent, they are something to wear around the house during the winter. Unfortunately they are a bit too small. I guess that is always the risk with ordering online. I am just too lazy to send them back.

Great slippers! especially if you have foot problems.I have peripheral neuropathy, and they feel really good..not at all scratchy,very soft shearling. Mine are wide even with swollen feet..I was going to order the wide..thank goodness I didn't.My toe hits the front because they are wide, but I'm sure that will they will form to my feet!

I bought these for my boyfriend, and he loves them! They are warm and cushy, and conform to your feet after a few wearings. He appreciates being able to adjust them at the back. I have a pair of Old Friend booties myself, and they're wonderful too.

Nice looking, my most comfortable pair of slippers. I got them a size bigger so I could wear them with socks as we keep the house at 58 degrees at night and the floors are cold in the morning. Wish they came with an arch support. Very good value for the money and Zappos is very good to work with.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. They are a bit wide for his feet but he really likes them, stating that they are "extremely warm and comfortable."

I have never ever been compelled to review a shoe before. I put these on and I think I shall never take them off. They feel like two huge marshmallows on my feet, with extra marshmallow under my sore, aching toes. I'm in love I want to buy them for all the family members who struggled with stupid bad slippers.

Great quality, nice true fit for a slipper. They are very warm, so I can't see them being too comfortable in the summer. I would buy more O.F. products!

My favorite slipper ever! Probably could have ordered a size down. They run about a half size large in my opinion a full size down would have probably been a little snug though. On the bright side, the laces actually work! Buy them! You'll forget about how much they cost after a couple hours. Love these, in fact, old friend has made a new friend.

Bought these for my husband who does not wear slippers and he loved them. Comfortable and great that they are sold in wide sizes.

The sheepskin lining is wonderful on your feet. Unfortunately, there is no support in this slipper which I need and they felt a bit too short. There were also a few glue marks on the suede on one of the pair. Too bad.

I love these slippers! This is actually my third pair (lost one pair, one for the office, and now one for the home). As soon as I get to work I throw these on and walk around all day in them. They are cozy and fit my huge feet (size 15) very well. I have no complaints! Love my Old Friend, and people always comment how comfortable they look (they are!).

I could not find moccasins locally, so I tried five different moccasins from Zappos in hopes of finding the right one. (Old Friend Soft Sole Moc, EMU Australia Talia, Daniel Green Nessa, RSVP Chardonnay, and RSVP Lodge). Surprisingly this style is one of my favorites. Despite it being the least fashionable, Old Friend wins in comfort. It was the only one with arch support and had a thicker sole than most (thus your feet are not so close to the cold floor). Old Friend was also the only moccasin that had a suede sole (advertised as durable) instead of rubber. Because it has a much longer tongue than other moccasins it feels a bit more like a slipper without actually being a slipper. This also means it stays on your foot better. The lining is real sheepskin (warm and cozy). Toe width is good (no pinching)and the heel is high enough to keep your foot in place. Although this shoe is noticeably wider than the other moccasins, it fits very similarly. Sadly the design is on the masculine side and not at all fashionable, but since these are personally for around the house, that is not a big concern since they are very comfortable.
