Received by date promised. Love these loafers...the 2nd pair I've purchased for 2 different family members. They were both thrilled with the quality & comfort. I like the fact that I can purchase replacement inserts. You won't be disappointed!

These are great! My son (age 10) wears an orthotic to help with arch support; I ordered almost 10 pair to find one to accommodate. This does, the footbed is removable. But he tried just for fun to see how they felt as is and they are great! I plan to order a pair for my Daddy. Super quality and oh so comfortable!

I just received them and right now they feel very comfortable. I wear a 9/12 so I went up to the 10. A little big so a (would have probably worked out fine). I like them a bit room anyway. I am sure that in winter with socks on they will be just fine.

I could not love these more. I am currently on my second pair after my first pair finally kicked the bucket after 6+ years of wear. I wore those puppies down to almost no lining. (But, alas, I have not disposed of my original pair! They are now my travel slippers.) My second pair are just as perfect as the first, nice and fluffy and warm. My husband was so jealous of my slippers that looked so nice and warm that I bought him a pair a couple years ago and he loves his just as much as I love mine. There are many days in the winter that I put these on when I wake up and don't take them off until going to bed. And coming home after a long cold day? You will then discover why they are named "Old Friend." They truly are like slipping your feet into an old comfy sweatshirt that has come to be your friend. As for sizing, if you hover between sizes like I do definitely go for the bigger size. (I'm typically a 7 or 7 1/2. I got an 8 in these and it's perfect.) No one wants a tight slipper, so it's always better for a slipper to be a bit loose than for it to be too small. You're just shuffling around the house after all, it's not as if you're hiking 10 miles.

Ended up going with the men's version for my 90 year old mom who wanted a bigger toe box. What IS with toes wanting to curl across each other? Anyway, these are comfy and great for her. She wishes the color was a bit darker since these are her "shoes" and not worn for slippers. Huge market out there for shoe companies to make soft, comfortable, high toe-box, shoes for elders. Only hoping that by the time I get to needing extreme comfort for my shoes, somebody has figured out something better. Dear God, don't let them be velcro.

This is my second pair of these slippers. Although I bought this pair in the same size as the last, this pair is considerably wider and tend to "throw" themselves off my feet as I walk. I have to be very careful when walking up the stairs. I still think they're great, very well priced slippers but will pay more careful attention to sizing next time.

Very nice shearling lining/foot bed. I like the neutral color. They are warm/soft. The sizing is very small. My shoe size is 8-8 1/2. I ordered 9-10 in these slippers and they are just barely long enough. The foot bed is perfectly flat, the slippers are a bit difficult to keep on.

They appear to be made very well, as to style you be the judge - they are slippers after all. My wife bought an additional pair after only a week for our weekend home. They are super warm, so maybe not the best for summer/hot environments. Maybe a bit pricey for what they are.

I bout medium size (9-10) for my dad who's shoe size is 9.5, it sounded perfect. His foot hung off the back. Meaning, it was too tight. To be fair, I think the leather would have stretched but he visits too occasionally to have done that. Also, the quality looked very impressive. The inside was so soft and the outside felt really nice. It seems like a quality product!

These are very comfortable and sturdy. They did come with shoelaces that were frayed in one spot and will break soon.

I bought these for husband. He has been very sick the past year and lives in them. Super comfortable yet have a good sole so you can wear them outside to get the paper. So awesome I bought a pair for myself.

My husband loves these house shoes. I recently bought him his 3rd pair. Around the house, he lives in them. He likes them 2 sizes larger than his shoe size. For him that is perfect. It looks very loose but he likes it.

Perfect sizing for me. Good quality. Warm. Good sole. No problems! A bit pricey as an extra deal...but good, lasting quality product may outweigh a few cents more!

So I'm into my second pair of these puppies. They're amazing. Absolutely worth the price. First pair I bought was the 14-15 size. I've been a size 13 shoe since 8th grade...literally. Anywho, for the second pair I went a size down as they stretch a bit over time (maybe a week or two depending on how often you wear them). You won't be disappointed, unless you're one of those people who just complain about everything. Great buy!

I love these slippers. I have really flat feet and the low arch was very comfortable. I did end up returning the slippers for a bigger size. I felt that they ran a tiny bit small. Otherwise, I love them.

Old Friend Ladies Scuff used to be my absolute favorite slipper. I have been buying them for years. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has clearly changed the quality yet retained the same price. These slippers would last me 2 to 3 years. The last three pairs I have purchased have only lasted one month before the sheepskin wears away at the heel and ball of the feet. When it happened with the first pair I simply thought it was a fluke and bought another pair. Same exact thing happened, by the end of the first month the sheepskin was worn away from most of the bottom of the slipper. I then bought a third pair and, again, the same thing happened. I have a pair of slippers I bought over five years ago that still has all of the sheepskin on the soles so there has definitely been a decline in quality. This is so disappointing. I strongly recommend against this brand, find another.

I really like this shoe because it really warms up my cold feet BUT, I have very narrow feet and had trouble with them slipping up and down when I walk. Therefore, I unfortunately must return them. Doesn't anybody make house slippers for long skinny feet?

Ordered my normal size 8 and with a few times wearing them I'm certain they will form to my feet. There's lots of fluffy cushioning surrounding the toe area and nice padding for my heel. Perfect slippers!

Excellent. Order 1 size larger. First pair lasted 2 years of everyday wear. Once you wear them a few weeks they slip on like their name comfortable as an old friend. After six months ordered a new pair thinking they would wear out in a year or so. Just started wearing the second pair as the soles on the first pair finally gave out. The uppers were in fine shape but the lining was beginning to wear thin. Excellent value for the money and am ordering another pair so I always have a spare. I recommend you water proof the uppers with a spay on suede waterproof-er. I live in Louisiana with lots of water and that is why I think they lasted in such fine shape. I wear them everywhere not just around the house.

I have had these moccasins for about a year and a half now and have worn them around the house quite a lot and a few times on short outings. In warm weather they are not too hot and do not get sweaty without socks, and in cool weather they work well with some nice cozy socks. They have an air of old-timey quality about them. I like how they look like they could have come from any point in history (except for the tiny peace sign on the heel). They are still just as intact as they day I bought them, they have not started coming apart at all, just become soft and pliable. They even still smell like leather and not feet! The leather is very thick but not hard and recovers well from being a bit wet. The seams are durable and well made. The sole is made up of two layers of leather with some kind of padding in between. Notice that the outer sole is leather itself (on the bottom) so they are not intended for outdoor use (although, of course, people wore shoes with leather soles for thousands of years before using wood or rubber so I do not see why you could not wear them outside). They do stretch out a bit, being leather, so if you want a snug fit you might size down. I ordered my normal size and am happy with the loose fit. Even loose they stay on the feet and do not try to fly off when you are walking. The fringe starts to relax after a while and drapes down the side in a very charming way. I realized almost immediately that the metal beads on the ends of the cords had to go. They are very heavy and caused the ties to come undone with every step, so I just took them off. You could replace them with lighter, maybe wooden beads if you wanted to. All in all, a very dear old friend.

Great slippers! I ordered up in size after reading other reviews. I am glad I did as they fit perfectly!
