Overall:

I am a woman but had to order men's slippers because they don't seem to have extra wide slippers in women's sizes. That being said, I ordered an extra wide in men's and should have only ordered a wide. If I'm not wearing a sock, I slip and slide in the slippers. Dangerous for a person with only one leg! Otherwise, I made the right choice.

I live in Vermont and always have cold feet come winter. These slippers are the best! They keep my feet toasty warm and are oh so comfy to wear. I wear a size 6.5 and the size 7 slippers fits perfectly. Love the inside, love the sole, love the fit, love the warmth. Will never wear another slipper!

Dear Old Friend, Thank you. The loafer mocs are perhaps the greatest invention of the decade. Providing superior comfort, my feet feel like they are heading to the day spa each time I slip these bad boys on. With proper insulation, my feet stay warm even in the coldest New England winters. I have turned heads wearing these mocs out of the house with a pair of fashionable jeans (Levis 512), given their versatile and sturdy sole. Overall, I am a better man for making this purchase. These tall boots are very cute and fit well in the foot. However, I have extremely skinny ankles and calves, so they looked too bulky on me. They have to go back. If you've got a bigger ankle and calf area - these are the boots for you. Thanks Zappos - I ordered 7 pair of shoes/boots at 2:30 PM CST Thursday and they were sitting on my doorstep the next afternoon.

I bought these slippers for my picky boyfriend and he loved them! It's very hard to find a size 13 wide slipper in the store, but these fit perfect and he says they are so comfortable that he wants to wear them to work! Great investment!

I ended up needing to replace my old winter slippers and wanted to get something that had a decent bottom and some actual support. These have been great. Very comfortable support, plush interior, AND my feet don't overheat and get all sweaty/wet. Definitely a 5 star.

I\'m not sure I\'ve taken these shoes off since I got them. They\'re more comfortable than wearing no shoes at all. Since they fit me and I have wide feet, they may be a little too roomy for people with narrow feet. I love them!

Love them. I've had my eye on these for years, but I couldn't justify spending the money for use in the warmer California climate. But when I moved to cold upstate New York, I decided I deserved to be warm, and these beauties get the job done. Super comfortable, well made, very warm, yet my feet do not overheat in them.

I bought a pair of these slippers last year and wore them out! So, I ordered another pair for this year. The first pair was so comfortable I practically lived in them! This year\'s model has a design change: the insoles are removable and washable! I really like that they have an outdoor sole too.

This is a great house shoe, to throw on at day's end and wear around the house. Very comfy, keeps feet nice and warm and can be worn with or without socks. I have been looking for a long time for this good quality house shoe/slipper, and these are they, finally!

I love these scuffs! I bought a pair in WA a few years ago and they wore out. I was so glad to find them again at Zappos! I must confess, I go through a pair a year, but I wear them ALL the time! I do wish the sole would hold up a little better, but other than that, I love them. I tried the booties in this brand, but my foot is wide so the scuffs were a better fit. Thanks again, Zappos, for the fantastic customer service! There is none better!!!

Old Friend is indeed an Old Friend. The old saying, 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it' applies to my situation. My husband bought me a pair of these slippers about 2 years ago and I loved them. I wore them so much that I wore them out. I've been wearing backup slippers for awhile now, ones that I purchased in an attempt to find something warm and cozy prior to the slippers purchased by my husband. I decided it was time to order new slippers, and I became enticed by other brands and styles. After buying a cheaply made pair from another company and sending those back, I bought a different style from yet another company, and ended up sending those back, too. All the while, my Old Friend booties kept popping up in the search, beckoning me to come home to comfort and stop having a grass is greener attitude about my slippers. I realized my silliness, so last night I ordered my Old Friend booties, exactly the same as I had a few years back. They arrived today (so quickly!) and my feet are at once happy again. The fit is perfect. The sheepskin is soft and pluffy (one of my favorite words). My feet are in heaven. I'm cursed with tons of foot problems, including bunions, arthritis, and a degenerative foot condition that leaves me with little padding. So, my slippers and all my footwear have to do double duty. My new Old Friend booties are just what the doctor ordered. I will never stray again. I almost want to buy a backup pair to keep on hand. I'm a size 9.5/10, and I ordered a 10 which fit perfectly. They are snuggly without being too tight, yet they provide adequate support with the sheepskin insert inside the booties. I don't remember having a removable sheepskin insert in my previous pair, but I'm glad that I do because it's washable and replaceable. Best of all, the bottom of the shoe is a hard, non-skid sole, which is exactly what I need because we have hardwood floors all throughout our house. Walking on them without any padding is a nightmare for me. If you're looking for comfort, softness, warmth, and quality, these Old Friend booties are exactly what you need.

My eighty four year old mother, who is confined to a wheelchair, has massively swollen feet from circulatory problems. I couldn't find any shoes to fit her until I saw these. They can be easily adjusted because they are fastened with a very generous wrap that closes with velcro. They have a firm sole which she needs for doing transfers. Everything else is very soft and flexible. They are quite cozy and can be carefully hand washed, although they take a while to dry. (I haven't tried completely soaking them, just sort of spot washed them.) Really, this is the only thing I have found that works at all for her. I tried them on before I gave them to her and they were very comfortable. They are made of real materials and are well made, very high quality.

These slippers feel wider and larger than my usual size 7. They are just slightly too big, but I know size 6 would be too short. Half size would be nice, but slippers don't usually come in half sizes, do they? I haven't seen any others I like as well, alas.

These slippers replace a similar model of Uggs, which doesn't seem to be available any longer. My husband likes them even better. They are warm, totally comfortable, and a perfect fit.

I ordered the Old Friends to replace my old pair from five years ago. I originally bought a cheaper pair and returned them. I am so glad I bought these! They are so soft and comfortable. I know I will have them for the next five years. They fit snugly. I wear a size 8 shoe and ordered the Large. There is not a lot of room at the back, so a size 9 should probably go up a size.

Everybody in my family - Ma & Pa, and our three adult children - wears Old Friends slippers. We like the clog style.They're warm in the winter, surprisingly cool in the summer (that's sheep's wool for you); long-wearing, and most importantly, their soles are more pliable and therefore more comfortable than those of a similar, probably better known brand. You could pay a good deal more than Old Friends cost and not get nearly as good a product.
