Found that these bootees run a size small. But otherwise, they are well made and very comfy! The sole is sturdy enough for outside wear, too.

I received this pair to be surprised at the overall size of the slippers. I was at first put off by the seemingly large width, but once I tightened them up and gave them a good break-in, they looked and felt a lot better. But the comfort is undeniably supreme. I would suggest restricting these slippers' usage to inside the house, if you walk on asphalt, you'll feel every spec and pebble.

I ordered the Old Friend Adjustable Closure Bootie for my elderly father who is in a nursing home. In addition to a wide foot (EE), his feet/ankles swell so it is hard finding slippers and shoes for him. These slippers looked perfect for Dad. I placed the order with Zappos on a Monday night and the slippers were already at my house Tuesday when I when I got home from work! I was impressed with the quality of the Old Friend Adjustable Closure Bootie and my Dad loves them! They keep his feet nice and warm and with the adjustable strap, they are easy for him to get on and off. We both couldn’t be happier. I would definitely recommend them! This was my first time ordering from Zappos - they were excellent to work with!

I bought these for my husband about a year and a half ago and I just ordered another pair for him because he loves them so much, he almost lives in them. His feet and toes are all messed up due to rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes, and these Scuffs (extra-wide width) give his feet room to be themselves, and have enough padding so he can stand in them for a long period of time. The fact that the soles flex and bend is a necessity for him, yet the soles are sturdy enough that he can work in the garage without problems. My husband says these are the best footwear he has ever owned.

If you're buying slippers for an older person or anyone who tends to have a shuffling gait, don't choose these. The thick rubbery tread on the bottom makes these slippers treacherous for people who slide their feet as they walk. I walk this way when I am particularly tired or when I get up during sleep to use the bathroom. This applies to both carpeted or smooth flooring. If I had known how dangerous this was going to turn out to be I would not have purchased these. I ended up falling face-first to the floor and nearly knocked myself unconscious when trying to move about around the end of my bed. If you want slippers with traction like a truck tire, then this is a good bet for you. Otherwise, choose something with a more smooth sole.

If you are looking for a pair of massage sandals that aren't painful --these are the ones! The nubs are very soft so they provide a gentle massage & you can wear them around the house for ages. If you want a more hard-core experience, try the Birkenstock Birkis!

Best Sandal Ever-Comfort - These are not the most attractive sandals around but OMG...comfy and really great for your feet. I used to wear the Adidas sandals with the nubs but no more. These are the best ever! Very durable and worth every cent!

Since my first order with Zappos, I have not purchased shoes elsewhere. The quality is great and the service is the best. These scuffs are so comfortable, you wouldn’t believe it. They hold their form so I am not bending over trying to put them on. I got the last pair they had in my size and I am sure glad I purchased them.

My husband wears slippers all the time and his old ones just got a hole in the bottom. I headed off to the mall to replace them. I went to all the major department stores and no slippers. They seem to only carry them at Christmas time. I buy my shoes from Zappos all the time but I never even thought about them for his slippers. When I got home I looked on Zappos and selected these. They are great and I really like that they have a rubber sole so he can step outside if he wants to. He seems very happy with them. Wish I had thought about Zappos before running all over the mall. I sure will next time.

These slippers are exactly what we were looking for; something to massage the feet after a long day and wear around the house. Loved it so much, my husband wanted a 2nd pair to wear outside the house! Shopping on Zappos is the best; and the effort you’ve put into using 360 degree photos make it easy to make a quick buying decision.

This is the most comfortable slipper I have ever owned. The soft sheepskin lining is perfect all year round and the arch support is a bonus because I have very high arches! It feels like I am walking on a pillow. I travel a great deal and these slippers always go with me. It's like having an "old friend" with me in the hotel! I definitely recommend these.

Pretty good - We don't wear shoes in the house so I live in my slippers. For the price the Old Friend slippers are fine. They seem sturdy and well made. They’re not soothing on the feet...you don't put them on and sigh with relief but they are comfortable enough for padding around. I wish there was a bit more arch support or a more padded insole but the materials are soft and the slipper is cozy. They’re true to size I guess but I thought that for Scuffs they should be a little longer - my foot is almost right at the edge. I also wish they had a bit more chunky sole as I like to go outside in them from time to time. Next time I might splurge on Uggs but for now I am happy with my Old Friends.

New design not so great - This is my favorite slipper. Well constructed, good quality, good value BUT there has been a design change that I don't like as well as the old design. The slipper now comes much higher up on your foot. Not as comfortable and looks more like a boxy, clunky boot than a slipper. There is a new sole that doesn't make any difference in the feel also. I kept my new ones but won't reorder.

Perfect Fit... The first time I put these slippers on it felt just as the name implies "Old Friend". I sometimes don't know I have them on. I go out to get the mail, and walk around the yard with ease. I am a diabetic and the doctor doesn't want me to walk around without shoes on and these fit the bill. I would buy another pair when I wear these out.

Not what I expected - This shoe in my opinion is just OK. I usually wear a wide shoe so I ordered this shoe in a wide and it falls off my feet. If I wear socks with this shoe it does fit better though. The shoe looks bulky, and it is. All in all, it's just OK.

Felt great as soon as I put them on! I love the inserts they come with. My UGG moccasins really aggravated my planters fasciitis. These give me just enough support. These are my second pair of Old Friend mocs. I bought the same style with sheepskin lining and they are great too. I think these shoes are a great value. They are half the price of UGG's.>

Soft Moccasin Bedroom Slippers - I wanted the moccasins because they are great on bare feet and are quiet when walking around the house. Very warm and soft. Great slippers, although the price seemed a little high, but I could not find them anywhere and I am sure they will last.

Started out great. Bought them to replace my UGGs. I've had them for about 4 months and they have gone from cozy to sloppy. The shearling has worn off under my heel and is wearing off also under the ball of my foot. My UGGs lasted for years before any of the wear off was noticeable. I will probably invest in UGGs next time.

Great pair of sleepers - The sleepers are great, very comfortable and the new inserts give extra cushioning and support but way off on sizing and I believe that is inherent of the brand as I bought a pair for myself as well and had to exchange it for a 2 size larger.
