I love these boots. I am in Afghanistan and do a lot of walking. These boots are great especially in uneven terrain. I have had a tendency to roll my ankles on the rocks here, but it has not happen once since I purchased these boots. I can promise you that I will buy the same boots again if these ever wear out. Great boot!

I bought a pair of these Oakley SI Assault 6 inch Boots in 2005, hoping that they would be a comfortable boot. I owned them until January, 2011, when the sole separated from the rest of the boot after a harsh winter in Ohio. I wore them daily and am on my feet all day as a surgeon. They are the most comfortable shoe/boot I have ever owned. They are durable and provided plenty of ankle support for me. I wish that they had lasted longer, but will be getting another pair soon after having tried out another style of boot that can't hold a candle to my Oakleys.

I bought these boots because I heard the traction was excellent and so far these boots have held up to the hype. The only bad thing is that they are starting to show wear such as threads coming out from the out-sole and I haven't had them for a month. Other than that it was worth the money.

Shoes broke in pretty quickly. It is dusty around here so I polish them every other day. Great boots though. I expect to have them a while.

Had these boots in Afghanistan and, Wow, what an amazing boot. Good for flat surface or rocks. Total support and feel while walking and no rolling your ankle on the small rocks like you would with shoes. I will be buying these over and over again. The 1 complaint I have is the heel starts to tear out on the inside after a very long time. I'm not sure if it's the way I walk or what but they are still very comfortable.
