I use these boots as a work boot and they are awesome. The support is unbelievable and the weight is great. This boot is worth every penny. Oakley will never let you down, they work hard, so you can too.
Brands I'd also recommend: Northface, Asics, Merrell

This boots are super comfortable with lots of cushioning on the sole. Great toe protection. I use 10.5 in running shoes. This size was too big for me on this boots.

It took about 2 days to wear in around the top of the boot, after that, perfect! My feet feel very comfortable and secure all day and night long. I sold my 6 inch Oakley SI boots in favor of the 8 inch version because the top of the 6 inch was annoying my ankle. But these boots are much softer around the top and well worth every cent. I bought a size US10 which is equivalent to a 9 in Australia and perfect fit. My Oakley SI 8 inch boots are a US 9.5. and perfect fit. The slight over sizing on the SI boots maybe for thicker socks? If you like Oakley boots, or even if you don't, these are great boots. Its a pity I wont be back state-side for a while yet, but I hope they are still available when I do.

I had a problem with this boot. The rubber became unglued from the canvas material in the flex point. Dirt and gravel would then build up in the opening. The boot was very comfortable and breathed well. Wish it held up better.

These boots are by far, the best all round, versatile design that I have ever seen. They seem to run a little narrow for a size 10 and I have average width feet. A 10½ would have fit better, but what I have will work fine. Style is not my forté, but they are extremely comfortable and function as designed. If you prefer boots, give these a try. You will not be disappointed to wear them at work and outdoor fun. They are comfortable and are designed for function.
