I posted my first review about ten months ago. Most of the threads in the toes of both boots are disintegrating. I have gone from being a big fan to someone that is very disappointed. I still wear the boots out without socks to do everything, and I still think they are great. I just feel like this much money should buy you boots that would not disintegrate in nine months of "normal" use.
I'd also recommend: none

This is the boot I have been looking for...for years. The drainage on the bottom isn't what is important; it is the fact that the boots are super light and you can wear them barefoot. I tried the "terrain" version of these but they were much heavier, the shoe strings were long and awkward and the overall fit is much different. The "water" version is the way to go. I hope Oakley sells these for many years because no one has made a boot like this. Truly one of a kind. Thanks Oakley, thanks Zappos.

I don't usually gush about any product, but these boots go above and beyond. I was in Canada on an eight day canoe trip, and my feet were wet for 12 hours a day. Everyone else that went was using Vietnam combat boots, with socks. I hate the feel of wet socks, and I didn't use socks. The boots became an extension of my feet! Everyone on the trip got "trench foot", I didn't. There just the best solution if you're going to be in water for extended lengths of time.
