This is a cute shoe that I could wear for business and a food show. However, it runs small. Disappointed because I like the quality and style. Need to return.

They needed a day or two to break in. If you have wide feet it will be perfect, but for me it feels like I am not getting enough support. They are not breathable. So get ready have your feet to sweat. Not good for hot summer days. I still kept it for work. I hope they are durable and will last longer than my previous from Sketchers.

Extremely comfortable and true to size. If you have any kind of back issue you already know you need a shoe with a back, not a clog or a mule. And these shoes are perfect.

I'm a teacher, not a nurse, but I decided to try shoes designed for other professionals who do a lot of standing and walking. I wore them in my house at first, a couple of hours at a time, before wearing them to school. (I usually wear flats, so I had to get used to the heel.) On the second day of wearing them to school, I decided I was impressed -- so impressed that I'll be ordering the same shoe in a different color!

I really like this shoe, I picked it because of the cushioned foot bed compared to the others like it. It does run very small I am an average size 7 and the 7 was way too small. Thanks to Zappos excellent exchange policy I had a size 8 the next day. The 8 still feels a little small but I do believe they will stretch since it is leather. I have only worn them for short periods so far and they seem really comfortable so the test will be my first 12 hour shift so my fingers are crossed as I liked these the best out of all the ones like it.

The style is very attractive and the shoe is easy to get on. But it has two fatal flaws. 1) The arch buckles when you are standing in them. 2) The sole has the same design as the Nurse Mates Dove which I had years ago. The sole is such that when you are walking in them, it catches on the floor and throws you forward nearly making you fall. I wore them once the other day and nearly fell walking a patient. The design of the sole is dangerous not just for me (the nurse) but my patients. I can't risk danger to them because of a fatal design that I thought would have been corrected years ago. I need two pairs of shoes too (8 and 9) because of two different sized feet. Waste of money for shoes that can never be worn again if I don't want to get myself or someone else hurt.

Actually want to give this 3 stars overall but the website seems stuck. Cute shoe, splays/tapers out a bit at the upper part (toe area) of the shoe, making it more 'spatula shaped'. A very comfy shoe made of soft leather, but if you have narrow heel it gapes there around the ankle. Need a shoe horn to get them on since the elastic ties are meant to stay in place and not be untied. Not sure if I will keep them or not. I have a feeling they will stretch out easily since the leather is so soft.

These shoes are not slip resistant. I have worn the Nurse Mates Dove style for years, and they were great- just uglyish in my opinion. I expected similar quality, but these are very slippery. Terrible for waitressing.

Best shoes yet! I can feel good coming home after hours on my feet. They are a little wider than the usual but sometimes my feet swell so I think it will be fine. They are only slightly wider. Better than tight.

I love these shoes! I was able to immediately wear them for my whole 12 hour nursing shift without breaking them in and they were very comfortable.

I'm very disappointed in these shoes. My other pair of Nurse Mates (different style) lasted 5 years and these didn't even hold up 4 months. The sole of the shoe under the heel has split and they are unwearable.

Love these shoes! I'm on my feet doing a lot of walking at work and these shoes, right out of the box were comfortable. I get tons of compliments too! I'm already looking at buying another pair.

This is the only nursing shoe that's helped me last the 12 hour shift without my feet hurting at the end of the day. I have tried others, but my bunions make my feet wider than what would have been regular width shoes. My small size usually doesn't have a wide option so this shoe solved the problem. Not as stylish as other brands but definitely worth it.

I took others' advice and ordered smaller than usual. The 7 1/2-8 was too small and the right shoe had a cloudy, oxidized look while the left shoe was shiny like patten. I returned for the 8-8 1/2. These are still feeling a bit tight and since they are not leather they don't 'give' much. The right shoe was again, cloudy looking while the left wasn't. Weird. They have pretty good support and seemed to be fine on wet floors. I always check that since they are for my job waiting tables. I am returning these too. Just don't love 'em.

I have loved this shoe, stylish and not bulky or clunky since I need to wear with a dress. I wear it for an activity that keeps me on my feet, standing and walking a lot throughout the day. At first it seemed a bit snug but true to leather they have had the give needed to now be comfortable. I am wearing with a trouser stocking so if heavier socks are worn the next size might be preferred. It has just enough heel to give a slight lift and not be totally flat.

I wear a 9 1/2 regular width in all my shoes. However, the top of the shoe was so tight it was painful to wear the shoe more than a few minutes. I exchanged the shoes for a 9 1/2 wide and that solved the pressure on the top of the foot. The shoes now slip a little at the back but not so much as to impair my step.

I purchased these for my daughter who is a grocery clerk and on her feet all day. She loves them. Helps her through the day in comfort.

I got these for work at my restaurant, there are time when I need to dress up but still need to be comfortable. These don't work for me. They were comfortable for the first few hours but then my feet started sliding forward and squishing my toes. By the end of the night they are killing me. I put an insert in to keep my feet in place, but it doesn't help much. On top of that, they aren't comfortable, the soles are hard and I have back pain after wearing them. They really aren't very cute but I figured if they were comfy it would be worth it. The good thing is they are easy to clean and they give a slight lift if you're wearing a skirt. The non slip soles work, I notice a big difference over regular shoes.

I ordered these shoes, they fit great and they are very comfortable. I am a diabetic and it is very hard to find shoes that will not hurt my feet. I used to wear Nurse Mates when I worked in a nursing home. So I recommend these shoes. When I need shoes I will buy from Zappos.

Pretty, but not for high arched feet. It does not hit and support my high arch as needed. Also runs true to size, so order your normal size.

My work involves carrying things and a lot of walking on concrete floors. I work in an antique store and have worn these for three weeks now. They have no scuffs or scratches on them, even after loading the truck with salvaged lumber, furniture and whatever! That's what I call a work shoe! These nurses shoes are padded on the inside, which makes them very comfortable. There is even padding along the top where your foot goes in (look closely at the pictures and you can see the puffy stuff) that holds the shoe in place but doesn't rub. The style isn't fancy but I like it with slightly flared blue jeans-it makes them look kind of like a construction worker-type boot. Also I wore a pair of skinny jeans with these shoes one day and that made them look like retro-type shoes. I am very pleased with them. They have a solid and stable bottom (good for walking over uneven surfaces, like barn floors and in old sheds)-- they will not slip around while I'm climbing up a ladder to look in the rafters, haven't got slippery when wet, and they do not make that odd squeaking noise some shoes make. From now on I will buy Nurse Mates shoes of this type. I wish I'd known about these years ago.
