Yes, they were snug for about 5 minutes but relaxed immediately. They are super comfortable, but the style makes me feel frumpy.

I love these shoes. I have the black and the blue. After having Dansko shoes for years I tried these to help prevent rolling my ankle. I really like these and I get a lot of compliments.

The insoles that come with these shoes are not very comfortable so I use other insoles from other shoes. That is not Zappos fault. Zappos has excellent customer service. I have always been a happy customer of theirs. My shoes arrive in about two business days which is incredibly fast and they have free shipping both ways. If you really do not like a shoe, they will let you return it free of charge. I couldn't be happier.

I tried these out as an alternative to the all too pricey Danskos. After five hours, my feet were on fire. Save your money and buy Danskos. At least they are worth the money.

I really liked the look of this shoe, was so excited to get it and extremely disappointed when it didn't fit. I ordered an 8 1/2 wide which is my normal size. It definitely didn't feel or look like a wide width shoe. The other problem I had was that the gussets that are supposed to let it expand to accommodate your foot pulled the top of the shoe down so the I could get more than my toes into the shoe. I felt like one of Cinderellas step sisters. I think it would have been great but I can't really say more than be careful about what size you order.

The shoe fit very tight and didn't seem to want to loosen up. I had to take them off after 3 hours standing on my feet because my heels hurt. I have used a similar shoe from Nurse Mates the last 2 years with great success. Not these unfortunately. Thanks to Zappos I am not stuck with a shoe that doesn't work. Gotta love free shipping and returns.

These shoes look cute but they hurt my feet. They're a bit too inflexible for my comfort. I'm returning them.

My 2nd toes are longer than my big toes and rub against the end of the shoe. Should have bought a half size or the next size up from what I normally wear. Otherwise they fit great everywhere else!

Very comfortable. I have knee problems and most shoes cause me a great deal of irritation and pain. These shoes do not. They are perfect if you have a job that requires you to stand or walk a lot. I would highly recommend.

Bought these shoes in my last semester as a student for my BSN. LOVE them! They are so much better than regular white tennies. I can wear them 10 hours and my feet feel great afterwards! They also look beautiful! People stop me all the time and ask where I get them, I tell them I get my shoes from Zappos!

I have been stopped by numerous people to comment on my shoes! Everyone likes them and they want to know what brand and where I got them! They are a little tight across the top of the instep area. Otherwise, very comfortable!

These shoes are great! I had tried several pairs of Dansko - but I could never love them like their fans. Too flat and I could never get used to the "Slippage" and weight...not to mention the "Holly Hobby" look. These shoes from Nurse Mates are soft, flexible, light and feel more like a tennis shoe to me. They are still comfort shoes but a bit more stylish, especially in the black patent. I got them in Black Patent Wide width. I usually have to wear a full size up in Med and I ordered my true size and they were perfect right out of the box. If you like to have the "slippage," get a half size larger. I had ordered both and ended up sending the half size up back. I have been wearing them for a couple weeks and although there are some "wrinkles" there is no sign of cracking or scuffing and I tear up shoes normally. I will definitely come back for more. I work for an airline and also at a bar so I am on my feet all day and was looking for some good shoes. After much reading I bought these shoes in 8.5 which is my usual size. I walked around the house in them for a while and my feet were sliding all around the shoe (I even tried on different socks) so I returned them for an 8. I walked around the house in the 8 for a night (doing laps around my living room and everything) and they felt fine so I decided to keep them. I've had them for over a month now. The left shoe is smaller than the right one and kills my toes. My right foot fits fine. (I know feet are different sizes but have never had this problem with any other pair of shoes I have purchased.) If wearing for a short amount of time, I can easily ignore this discomfort but after a 13 hour day I'm starting to hobble. I wish I was able to wear them to work before deciding on keeping them. Other than the painful toes the shoes are fine for a long day but once you go over 10 hours your feet will hurt with squished toes or not. They are sturdy and good when walking behind a wet bar.

Very comfortable, yet somehow too little space for the toes. I kept them anyway and broke them in. Worth it since the overall shape is very comfortable.

Love the beautiful, soft white leather and style of the shoe! However, it is very wide, I wear a narrow shoe and need a narrow. It is a policy that we as nurses wear a white shoe. I know there are other nurses out there with a narrow long foot (because I work with them), are there any shoes for us?

Pros: lightweight and heel hight is nice with longer scrubs like the Koi brand. The toe box is wide enough if your in between widths. I have wide feet but not wide enough to order this in the wide shoe size. These shoes are way more comfortable than dansko with the soft cushion bed. This color blue is beatiful like ocean marine deep blue and patent! Cons: the heel hight pushes your feet forward so your toes hit the front of the shoe even with a half a shoe size bigger. This causes the comfort level to decline. Some may not have this problem but I've read other reviews with the same problem. I wouldn't recommend wearing these shoes for more than 6 hours because of this reason. If you have uneven shoe size by half a size, these shoes don't compromise. It's better to buy an open back shoe and not closed like this. Overall: I would probably still buy Nurse Mates but the smaller heel height because they still are comfortable at a more reasonable price point.

I needed a good pair of shoes and these came highly recommended by my mom (she is an RN). I was worried about buying them online without trying them first, I wear a 7 wide and finding shoes that aren't narrow can be a pain but I needed them in less than a week and could find any local stores, so I crossed my fingers an hope for the best. They fit perfectly! Super comfy, flexible and pretty cute!

What adorable shoes! They make your feet look smaller. I normally wear 8 but took a 7½ in these. Even though they are nursing shoes I use them as my everyday shoes. When going to ballet class or ballroom lessons I need something that is easy to slip on and off, yet stylish, too. And these shoes, in the black patent, fit the bill! I am very happy with my purchase, and as always Zappos' service is amazing!

Comfortable shoe for walking or standing around except they rub the tops of my toes. Have to wrap two or three toes with moleskin to prevent calluses/corns from forming. Am still wearing them however as I have a terrible time finding shoes that are appropriate for an office environment, easy on/off for frequent airport travel, and comfortable enough to stand in all day. They continue to break in and get more comfortable as time goes on.

I thought this shoe was uncomfortable. I have a normal width foot, maybe slightly narrow, and this shoe in medium width felt tight across the upper part of my foot. It also came up kind of high on the front of the foot and as I walked the tongue part rubbed on my upper foot/front ankle and I could tell if I had worn them all day I would have been rubbed raw there. I was not happy with these at all.
