I got these shoes because I'm a pilot and go through airport metal detectors several times a week and didn't want to remove my shoes every time. In this respect the shoe does great and never sets of the detectors. But it is a bit uncomfortable in that the leather on the sides comes up a bit too far and is too stiff and thus digs into the bottom of my ankles. The shoes also have this weird black coating on them to make them look shiny, but starts flaking off from the very first time you wear them.

The size was correct, but the support was lacking. You need to read the description closely. This shoe is specifically designed to allow you to get through airports. That's about it! It is not a good general purpose shoe; the heel is very soft, and the overall support is less than wonderful. On top of everything else, the upper separated from the sole on one of the shoes about a month after I started wearing them.
