Just ok - I expected more for the price paid. I should have gone ahead and sent them back after I tried them on. They fit and felt ok, but were 10 inches too long. I washed them according to the directions and they shrank some, but didn't get any shorter. I've tried to hem them, but don't like the way it looks. I may have to take them to an alterations person to see what they can do so that they are wearable. They are too expensive to just put in the closet and not wear. I should have known better.

Warning: same jeans, same size, VERY different fit - I have a pair of these jeans in the light wash that are PERFECT. I had hoped the same jean; same size in the dark wash would be equally perfect. I washed them, tried them on and they seemed to fit okay. Then, because the length on these is always too long, I had them shortened with the expensive R&R or "jeans hem" technique. Now when I wear them they are too big and baggy for me and because I've altered them I can't return them. I am really disappointed in the money wasted. I know now I should have worn the too long pair around a little longer and I would've realized they don't fit. Maybe they will shrink in several really hot water washes? Not so far. As for Zappos: REALLY prompt shipping and a competitive price (made more competitive since there's no tax or shipping charge).

Wonderful jeans!! Finally, a jean for the full figure woman. Just because we have curves does not mean we don’t want to be sexy in our jeans!! Great fitting jeans with good coverage - especially if you're a pear shape. Do order either your regular size or one up as these jeans hug your figure.

I am very happy with these jeans. They are a little higher in the waist and the cut really looks nice on me. Wore them on the airplane and the stretch kept them comfortable without losing shape. I hate to spend this much on a pair of jeans but in this case I am glad I did!

Until you try these NYDJeans you just will not get it. I am tall, large, big butt very small waist. These fit in every niche and corner and no huge waistband hanging out there. It was like they were custom ordered. Thank you Zappos for offering NYD Jeans.

Have had these jeans for a month now. Fabric is great, not too heavy. I bought the same size in these that I wear in all other pants. Back waist is too high so it gaps. And of course I had to shorten the length by 4". Wish they made a straight leg style. Why do pants makers assume that as one gets wider, one gets taller?!

These jeans are very confortable for plus sized women. The downfall is the lengths offered are way too long for the average woman and you really have to watch the rise to make sure the jeans don't end up right under your breast. It's bad to pay this much for jeans only to have to spent additional dollars to have the altered.

I took everyone's advice and ordered a size smaller. They were too small so I ordered my regular size. They were also too small so I'm ordering a size larger. These will be a size larger than the Ralph Lauren jeans I purchased from a dept. store. The fabric seems really stretchy and hugs the body. I felt they ran especially small through the thigh. Lots of length though.

Just got these jeans a few days ago, my 5 pair of this brand and guess you could say I covered my butt well by switching to NYDJ. All fit well, but I did not have to shorten these, I am 5'7" and need a 31" inseam and these are perfect in every way. If you want to sit in peace knowing that your backside is covered, get 'em! I started getting these because of the fit and kept getting them because they are made in the U.S.A.

I have a size 12 waist and size 16 thighs. It's been years since I bought a pair of pants that didn't have to be taken in at the waist (adding to price), and buying to fit my thighs usually means I get a lot of bagginess in the crotch. These pants are the most perfect pair of jeans I've had since I was in high school. The gap at my waist is so small I can hide it with a belt. Perfect rise, no sagging crotch or bulk in front. No alterations necessary. They hold their shape, they're a perfect length to wear with just a little wedge. I bought three pair.
