I ordered the ankle in both the black and the purple lily. I love all of the new colors that are out there this spring, and glad to see NYDJ has jumped on the trend. I really like ankle length. Being 5'2" it is just easier. It looks great with heels and flats, too.

I've been wearing size 18 for 20 years. These aren't even close...maybe a 15 or 16. After washing at 98% cotton, they would be a 14 or 14. No thanks. Back they go.
Brands I'd also recommend: Ellos (fantastic jeans if you can find them)

I ordered the ankle in white originally, then ordered the other colors. I found the fit to be fairly consistent across all the colors. I went a size down, as I think they stretch out a bit. I recommend them highly!

Inseam is a bit longer than stated--which is good. But I always wear a 6P in this brand and am exchanging them for a 4P because the 6 is too big in both the waist and hips. Also, I guess purple is a subjective color, but I'd call the Purple Lily something more in the blue category--a nice blue, but not purple.

I purchased the Alisha Ankle Colored Jeans in Optic White, as I recently lost 16 lbs., and needed to replace my old white jeans with a new summer pair. Since I am only 5'3 inches, the shorter inseam, 28 inches seemed perfect. However, when they arrived, the pants were way too long (at least 30 inches). I called Zappos, told them about the problem, and asked for a replacement pair. As usual, Jessica, a service rep for Zappos, was wonderful, and sent a new pr. out within 2 days, an even exchange with no cost to me. I measured both pair, and indeed, the old pair were 1 1/2 inches longer than the new one's in the exchange. A manufacturing glitch. I sent the old pr. back. These jeans are skinny, and the ankle's are tapered somewhat. If you have a curvaceous figure and are taller than 5'4", these jeans will flatter. But comparing this with the NYDJ Audrey jean, I like the fit of the Audrey jean better. I will keep these jeans as I need a white pair. Thanks Zappos for your outstanding and terrific service.

Ever since the birth of the low-rise trend, I have been unhappy with all the jeans that I have tried on in stores. I have been wanting to have a pair of NYDJ for the longest time but the department stores I went to didn't have them in size 0. I was glad to find 0 petite in Zappos, and the exact color I was looking for. It came pretty quickly too -- in less than 24 hours. So happy with the merchandise and the service.
