I love these jeans! The fit is perfect through the waist, hips, thighs, rise, and length in my usual size 8P. I am 5’2� and 110 lbs. and a definite pear shape if that helps you other petites. The darker wash is a bit dressier and the light weight is perfect for summer. Wish it came in other washes and colors.

These are great fitting jeans. I love the lighter-weight fabric which has just enough spandex to make them comfortable around the waste without giving you the "muffin-top" effect.

These jeans are fantastic. They are super stretchy and comfortable like all NYDJ jeans, but for the petite size they are cut a bit longer so that they can be worn with a slight heel. They are lighter weight and a dressier fabric than your typical jean, so that they could be worn for a weekend business meeting or to a casual office. Also great for night out.

I would love more of these. This lightweight fabric is my favorite. They stretch, but do not bag out. I would love more dark colors like charcoal or black. I would buy a third pair of the dark blue, too. I reach for them every day.

I love these jeans! Being 5' 6 it is hard to understand why I wear a petite size but most jeans have a 32 inch inseam and I need a 30 inch. These fit perfectly with the most comfortable fit ever. This brand may be a bit pricey but they are worth every penny. I know they always fit right and look great!

Love these jeans! I have several different styles of this brand now, but these are by far my favorite, super comfortable. I was lucky enough to get the last pair in my size.

I bought the petite for the length. I did not want to hem the regular size jeans. The only thing that I did not like about the petite fit was that the waist did not go up to my belly button. Otherwise, the fit was great, and the light weight jean fabric is great for the tropical weather in Hawaii.
Brands I'd also recommend: Clarks, Korkease, Dansko, Dolce Vita
