Okay ladies, this is the truth! Notice on ads that some clothing lines claim their jeans/leggings go right to the waist. They show a belly button, then on each side of the body the curve area from hips to mid drift and the model weighs like 63 pounds soaking wet. Well, guess what. These go to your waist, your real waist. And even a little above without creating the muffin top! Read: No muffin top! I am 160 pounds. A real woman's body. I now wear 6 pairs of these, no, not all at the same time, duh! And the tops, they are not like rubber bands. Honest!

Brands I'd also recommend: NOT-just this brand. Ok, maybe Gloria Vanderbilt. I have several pairs of her jeans and they, too, fit!! Read. They fit. The allow for the waist!

Finally, a great pair of leggings! They have all of the things leggings should have - a nice, high, smooth (no roll) waistband, good stretch, great fabric - substantial but not too thick, matte black, well-sewn seams and easy care (machine wash cold, hang dry). I am 5' 7" and slim, so a size 2 was a good choice for me. My daughter is 5' 4" and curvier, but a size 4 was great for her. These leggings stay up when you sit down and are so comfortable. I plan to buy more!

I love these. They're thick (warm), waist fits and is made well. I'm so happy they came up to my natural waist! The leggings are a bit long which is not a problem. I plan to wear them with socks and boots (and a skirt). Now I have my outfit for Thanksgiving. Yeah.

These by far are the best leggings. I've tried various other brands, Miracle Body just to mention one, the fit is dead on! I took a chance and ordered a size 8 which I wear in NYDJ's, however, due to a medical condition I have gained the dreaded 10 lbs and they fit. The waist is perfect as is the length the material is soft. Overall, these are the best leggings!

These knit leggings are so comfortable! They are true to size, however they do seem a bit long, I had to fold them over to tuck them into my boots. They are full coverage leggings made with wonderful thick fabric.

At the end of the first day I wore this, the waistband started to roll down. When I took it off, I saw why. The waistband elastic stitching was coming apart from the pants. It was then that I saw the quality of the workmanship was really shoddy. I am not surprised it fell apart. But I am disappointed. For that price for leggings, I would have expected a well-made, long-lasting garment. It is a shame, because the material and cut/fit were outstanding.

Simply the best leggings ever. Period. The waistband is substantial and over in inch in width, lays flat, feels secure at the waist. Fabric very comfortable. I just ordered two more pairs, will live in them all winter. I also have Patagonia leggings, but these feel more like pants.

Way more money than I wanted to spend, but at least I can say they are really good leggings. They come all the way to my waist and smooth the area very nicely. A sweater dress looked great with them. I'm 5'6" and normally wear a 8 or 10. I got a 10 and I would say they are a tad long, but fine since I wear them with boots. The top of them fit too perfectly to send them back for an 8.

The leggings fit beautifully, not too tight but really just snug enough. Just a little bit long (need to tuck it in into boots or wear heels). It makes me look tall and sleek (according to my friends and co-workers).

These are very nice leggings, but they should be for the price. They are a medium to heavier weight. I feel very good in them, and I like the tummy panel in the front. I have no complaints...except for the price. They are nice, but I also got another pair of leggings for under an amount...and they are nice too, just not as heavy.

I really wanted to like these leggings. At first glance, they seemed perfect -- nice weight, flattering fit. But in direct sunlight the black fabric looked shiny, due to the nylon spandex showing. I know that kind of shine is hard to control, but it can be done, and should have been at this price point. May not bother someone else, but I wouldn't have felt right in them.

I do love NYDJ brand and have quite a few pairs of jeans by them. However, I was a tiny bit disappointed in the fit of this style. They are beautifully made, but the stitching around the waist seemed to be too tight and when I put the leggings on, it felt like the seams could possibly break. The style was nice, but even though I frequently wear size 4 (these did fit my legs perfectly) in NYDJ, I sent them back and would have gotten a 6 if they had had them in stock. Nicer look to these leggings than the thin ones you frequently find in the stores sometimes.

These are the best set of leggings I own and worth every penny! They feel more like a pair of pants which is important at 40 and sit on my natural waist which helps with muffin top, etc. I did go down a size from my jean size and they fit perfectly.

Great fabric weight! It is hard to find leggings that are not paper thin! They hold the tummy in nicely without discomfort. They do run small. I am an 8, but bought these in a 10 and they fit perfectly.

I love this brand. I also have jeans and a skirt from Not My Daughter's and I am quite pleased with the fit and quality. I am not sure if there is vanity sizing happening with this company, but the product runs large. I am usually a 10 or a 12, and an 8 fit me best with the leggings and skirt. The front panel really is slimming if you have a tummy like I do. Completely comfortable and stylish with a tunic or a dress, or a tee shirt and hoodie. Have fun and look fantastic wearing these leggings to work or play.

Love these leggings! Not the usual thin, stretchy kind. Fabric is substantial. Fit is close but not tight. Waistband is wide and fits well so you never feel like they are slipping down. It says the length is 29 inches but my pair was longer and had them hemmed to 29. They are so very comfortable. I bought another pair as it's so hard to find comfy, well-made, good fitting pants like these.

These are the best leggings I have ever owned. And maybe they are a bit more of a legging, nice warm fabric and you can't see through it. I hope NYDJ makes these again and we need navy and brown and a stone color, please. I wear a 6 and all that was left was an 8 so I bought them and they are fine. I would buy another pair if I could find them.

These are not jeans at all; they are typical heavy leggings. They are ok but not what I expected. The fit is quite small.
