I absolutely love these jeans; except for the fact that they were about 4 inches too long. I am 5'3 and have had a hard time with ordering Petite from certain companies. Some are the perfect length; others are way too short when wearing your 2" heel boots or high heels. I'm caught between getting them the right length and getting them to fit properly. Since I used to be a seamstress back in 4-H years ago; I can alter the jeans to the proper length. However, I am curious to find out if the Petite in size 14 would fit me perfectly? My inseam is 29" and the Petite sizes usually say 30". I'm afraid that my Ugg 2-1/2" heels will make the jeans "highwater", which I totally hate. What to do? Do you guys have any suggestions? I'm not giving up this perfect pair of jeans; I will alter them in length; however, can I purchase Petite 14 and still have the same fit and the perfect length. Anybody have any advice? Thanks! They scored 5 stars; it's my fault that I ordered regular instead of Petite length. Overall, I'd say these are totally 5 Stars.

I bought these jeans, #1 because I generally always like the fit, quality, etc of NYDJ, and #2 because I wanted a lighter wash. I tried them on, checked myself out in the mirror and thought they were keepers. Sadly, after wearing them for an hour or so they seemed to "grow" a size and looked all frumpy and stretched out. Not at all what I would expect from NYDJ. Watch out when thinking of purchasing the Jazlene style.

These are great-fitting jeans, and they feel great on. I am petite 5'4" so I had to have them hemmed (the NYDJ petite is too short for me, especially if I accidentally dry them in the dryer!) But that is a small price to pay for such awesome jeans. I only wish the pockets were smaller and/or set lower. Then they would be more flattering to us curvy types.

Love these jeans. They look like old favorites, but the stretch makes them so comfortable. I have big hips and thighs for my proportions, so they aren't really loose on me. I actually wore them last night!
