As I have wider hips, I like a boot cut to help balance out. Unfortunately, the leg opening is more on the straight leg side. I kept them for around the house, but they will not be my go out in the evening or various events type of jean.

Love these jeans! I am a 42 year old with hips and a tummy. I love that the higher waist prevents my pants from falling down. This pair doesn't sag after I've worn them a while like so many stretch jeans. I am 5'5", 145 lbs and the 10 fits great. Worth the money!

Best NYDJ ever. I really like the lower waistline. I usually love the fit of NYDJ but the waist is a bit high for me. These fit right below the navel. The pocket flaps are sewn down on the ends so they will never have that flipping up problem, nice touch. I think they might run a big large and I am a little concerned about them stretching out too much. But, so far, I love them. Zappos delivery is shockingly fast!

I usually wear a 10 in NYDJ, however this style fits perfect at first, then keeps stretching into a 12 or 14. They are really baggy and too big in the waist. I am very disappointed with this purchase.

I have many pairs of this brand jean, these are the most flattering yet! I am ample in the butt and hip area and these make me look great! I really like the pocket detail. Because they stretch when I wear them I wish I had a size 8 instead of the 10 I have and they are sold out of the 8.

I finally broke down and bought "mom jeans". They fit and feel great. My co-worker asked if I had lost weight. I suggest these jeans to anyone over fifty and it having tight waistband issues.
Brands I'd also recommend: Keen shoes

Great fit, great quality fabric with stretch, very comfortable. It's nice to have a straight leg alternative to the not-so-flattering skinny jean (this jean is bootcut but is still quite straight). I really like the mid-rise - sits perfectly with no muffin top!
