Oh, I LOVE this skirt, and I love Zappos customer service. I had to order 3 times, because of it being too big each time. SO this skirt does run large, but when you get the right size it's so wonderful. Very lightweight and stretchy. Thanks Zappos! Want to order a short version now!!

Wonderful, classy...very flattering and very comfortable fit. It does runs a little large. great with boots. Unusual to find a long skirt that actually is ankle length. Love this skirt!

Thank you for carrying a denim skirt that is a great, solid, dark blue. This is constructed from their lighter-weight very stretchy denim, so it's easy to wear. As with other NYD items, you need to size down; even doing that I may decide to take in the waist a little though by the size chart it should be too tight to fasten (reason for overall 4 stars). I ordered the size I wear in their jeans and the hips are perfect. Am looking forward to a lot of wear out of this.

I think this skirt runs true to size for NYDJ. Buy a size or 2 small than you buy on other brands of jeans. I don't know if I would call the fabric denim. It is very light weight and have a lot of give more like a knit. With tights and boots should be able to wear this winter.

I have this in size 18 and I normally wear women's 18 and it fits just right. Great to find a long skirt the right length for me at 5'8". Easy to hike it up or down a little to adjust length, as the material is quite stretchy. I thought it would show lumps or panty lines but that's not the case. Fabric feels great and looks wonderful. Can dress it up or down. Even though it is much more expensive than I'd usually spend for a skirt, I would buy it again.

I love this skirt. It is hip and flattering. I wear a 10 (including in NYDJ); this one I had to down to 6. It is more than I have ever paid for a casual skirt, but I feel good about it.

I love my NYDJ Elen Long Denim skirt! The fit is good although I probably could have purchased a size smaller. Too bad they do not make a matching jacket!

I am disappointed. I ordered this skirt using my Zappos gift certificate and a Zappos credit, and since I'm returning I have lost them. I am a 10 but because of the reviews ordered a 6. It's fine in the waist and hips but there is an extra 3 yards of material from the hips down.It's almost like a hoop skirt. NYDJ has got to be kidding! It's going back.

This material can barely described as denim. Heavy swimsuit material would be a better description! Very stretchy, medium to light weight. Does run a bit large, so I'd recommend a size down.

I am trying to decide. This is the stretchiest denim that I have ever seen, so I recommend going 2 sizes down. I had another NYDJ skirt and it sort of grew after you wore it for a while! I cannot decide if the silhouette (A-line) of this denim skirt is sloppy or sort of cool. I wish it was more of a column/fitted silhouette. It will only look good with fitted tops. The jury is out.

This is a great skirt. The denim is very fine and it can be worn year round. I am 5'8" and it is ankle length.

I love this skirt. It is super soft, wonderful color and simple. I swore I would never buy this brand as it reminded me of SNL skit on mom jeans' but I have to say this is perfect. The fit is spot on as well.

I normally wear a 10 and this 8 fit, but the styling was not flattering. It grabbed my upper thigh/lower hip and tapered in, which emphasized my hips. Also, I am 5'9'' and leggy, but this skirt was very long. I liked the fabric - it is soft, not stiff like denim.
