Comfortable! For some reason, every time I've purchased pairs of black jeans in other brands in the past they tend to run very small and short. Not so with these. In fact there is a little more give and stretch to these than my other NYDJ's probably due to the 4% (vs. 1%) spandex content. I would definitely recommend ordering these a size down from your usual size. I'm about 5' 8" and did have to have them hemmed, but I wear my jeans with sneakers. If you wear heels, they'd probably be just fine. I would definitely recommend these jeans, but do keep in mind the slight bit of extra stretch they seem to have which for me, adds to their comfort.

These are as wonderful as all the other NYD jeans. They give a nice long appearance to your legs and tighten up your tush. Comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I now own three pair. They were cheaper at Zappos than the online manufacturer's site and Zappos free shipping made the decision easy.

Great fitting jeans and they truly do make you look one size smaller! I like how they fit nicely around the lower waist and the bootleg cut is more modern and not as wide as some other styles.
Brands I'd also recommend: Jag Jeans

I love these jeans! They are very slimming and comfortable. I ordered this and another style on sale, but I would gladly pay full price. I only wish I'd discovered them earlier. The one issue for me was length; I'm 5'2" and the petite were too short. The regular is way too long, but I wear heels with them, and they look great. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

These are awesome jeans! They have a comfortable, flattering fit that is true to size and not too short. Now I do not risk plumber's butt every time I bend over. I grew up in Levi's 501s and I have been hating the trend of lower and lower rise jeans, not only do they cause plumbers butt, but they create muffin tops on all but the skinniest human beings. These jeans do not do that! I am ditching my Lucky's and Seven's and buying these in other colors. I am 5'6" and generally a size 6, these jeans are true to size and just the right length. I like to wear clogs or 2" heels.

I love these jeans. they're awesome and comfortable as well. I bought two pair and the black fit perfectly but a little too long, I needed a 22 inch inseam rather than a 33. The black pair fit true to size, more comfortable than the brown. They seem a little pricey to me but seem to be made with quality in mind. Love the fact that they are made in the USA with American fit!
