I love hats and usually stick with a baseball cap, however my husband thinks the cowgirl look is very sexy therefore it is not just a bad hair day hat. He also likes it because he can easily pick me out in a crowded poker room. Also, the flexible brim is a handy feature. I will look into what other cowgirl hats Zappos offers for the cooler Connecticut weather.
I'd also recommend: do not know my hat brands

I got this for my honeymoon in the Caribbean. While it's super cute, it did not make it through the 6 day trip well at all. The "straw" around the wire brim began tearing the 3rd day I wore it. I will say it stays on well and the beaded belt is cute. But I wouldn't buy this (or this brand) again if I want something to last more than a 5 day trip.
