I am very disappointed with this purchase, because they would have been the perfect shoe for a formal event that I will be attending next month. For the same event last year, I purchased a pair of Nina "Electra"s in a size 10 (my normal size). Those shoes fit perfectly, and I was so happy with them that I looked no further than Nina for a new pair for this year. When the "Ruth"s arrived, they looked small right out of the box. I tried them on, and sure enough--too small. I checked the bottom of the shoe to make sure I had received the right size. It said US 10/EUR 40, and that right there is the problem. A US size 10 is typically a EUR 41 (a US 9 is a EUR 40), so these shoes were a full size too small. I went back to the Zappos page to see if they offered an "11", but no such luck. Now I will have to start my search all over again, when I thought I had found the perfect shoe. The apparent inconsistency of Nina's sizing is making me hesitant to order this brand again. Otherwise, these are gorgeous right out of the box. If you like them as much as I did, please do yourself a favor and order a size up if you are able to.
