I bought these for my husband. He asked for these specific shoes (only he had the older version before). As far as I know he loves them. He has knee problems and won't run in anything else.

I weigh over 400 pounds and was looking to get back in shape by walking. Needed a shoe to help with my under-pronation, because I walk on the outsides of my feet. I've put about 20 miles on these shoes over the last month and they are wonderful. The support structure on the outside of the shoe has held up under my weight and they definitely help to correct my under-pronation. They are very comfortable and fit true to size and width and the arch support is excellent. I would recommend them and will definitely buy another pair when needed. Definitely have helped with my weight loss walking program (never underestimate the importance of a good pair of shoes).

This shoe is, in my opinion, a terrific update from the Zoom Vomero+ 5, which I'd run with previously. I felt the Vomero+ 5 lacked enough cushioning in the forefoot, and the Vomero+ 6 has solved that problem. I'm a bigger guy for a consistent runner (6'2", 210-lbs.), and I use the Vomero 6 as both my race shoe and as my everyday trainer (I do between 25-30 miles a week). I've already put about 100 miles on this pair in the first month that I've had them, and they don't show and real signs of wear yet. The sockliner is very plus and durable...I have hard skin on the inside of my heels, and so I tend to wear down sockliners very quickly, but this one still looks new. My only complaint is on the style -- they went a little over-the-top on the amount of color on the tongue of the shoe, which just looks strange. But the shoe performs so well that I'm willing to overlook that. A very subtle and worthy upgrade over the Vomero+ 5, I'll buy the 6's again.

Wow, I've tried everything from Nike to Adidas to New Balance for the most comfortable running shoe with the most cushion...Nike Shox Airmax Free Run, Adidas Climacool Reebok Realflex...all pail in comparison to the amount of cushion and bounce there is when you walk or run in these pups. The first thing I did was smile when I stepped into these, forget are you gellin' from Dr Scholls, are you Zoom Vomero + 6in? I'm ordering a second pair or these as I finish this review. Oh, plus I take a size 16 in all New Balance classics like the 514's or what ever number they are, but these fit me perfectly in a size 15.

These are very comfortable shoes with excellent cushioning. I have very high arches and wide feet, and the Vomero 6 may be the truest fitting athletic shoe I have ever worn. I love Zappos, too.

I underpronate a lot, especially with my right foot, and I am a very big guy. I have compartment syndrome in my right calf, which is exacerbated by my underpronation. I require an EE size, and I have been wearing New Balance cross trainers for the past several years because they are made of leather and provide the most stability (to keep my foot from rolling out). I was pleasantly surprised to find that Nike is making a stylish, neutral, EE-size running shoe, so I could no help but try it (New Balance does not offer many neutral running shoes that match my other criteria). The Vomero seems a little snug even with the EE, and a little short in length, although it does provide for a rather comfortable, if snug, fit. There is no slippage when walking briskly. I cannot believe how much cushioning the shoe has - much more than any cross trainer. I am not sure someone like me should wear it for an everyday shoe (I wear it to walk on the treadmill) since it does not provide quite as much stability, especially in the heel. That is the one thing I really love about the New Balance cross trainers. They were very stable and supportive. Although not very cushioned. Also, I wear orthotics, and they fit great in the Vomero. Very easy on and off. Overall, great shoe, and probably even better for someone who does not have my underpronation and compartment syndrome issues.

Brands I'd also recommend: New Balance

Best cushioned shoe on market. Period. To appreciate its lofty softness, stop after running for 20-30 outstanding minutes then resume and you will smile. I started with 4s and had a number of pairs, 5s were okay; 6 is back to top. I anticipate purchasing more pairs every 400+ miles. One thing though, 4s were built better than these. Still, I think everyone should only run in these regardless of foot type just because of its plushness.

My cross country team went to a running store, and I, going in, had no intention of buying shoes. However, after running on the treadmill with these, I fell in love with them. They just felt so good on my feet that they were a must-buy. I have been running with them for a while now, and they feel great every time.

I have run in almost every version of the Vomero since it was first introduced and was a huge fan. Until now. I have put less than 200 miles on my Vomero+6s and the cushioning in the forefoot has already broken down. The outsole is also showing considerable wear. Although the Vomero is an excellent lightweight trainer, I expect a shoe at this price point to hold up better than what I experienced. I'm very disappointed in this latest "update," because until now I thought the Vomero was the best running shoe Nike ever made, and I've run in a lot of Nike shoes the past 30 years. I guess it's time to give Asics a try.

I bought these shoes to replace my aging Nike Pegasus trainers. After using this shoe for 3 weeks, I would say that it is a good shoe and I am happy with my purchase. Compared to the Nike Pegasus this shoe is wider across my toes and provides less pronation support.
