Do not buy this shoe. Hole in heel will sink back while you are running and way too much arch support. Also very flimsy.

My son runs distance and loves these shoes. The only downfall was they ripped by inner arch closer to toes so this is his second pair which is the reason for the 4 overall rating. Otherwise he is very happy with these.

Top of the line distance spike for going fast. Rips in the upper occur at ventilation points that do not affect the performance of the spike. Enough cushion for going long distances yet fast enough for an 800. I have ran several seasons one one pair putting a Mile PR of 4:18.9 on these. I use them for cross country also. It feels likes a sock on your foot (given that you don't wear socks which is what you're supposed to do).
Brands I'd also recommend: Brooks wire, Nike Mamba, Nike victory, Nike Rival Distance
