Currently I average about 40 mpw. These shoes are a little stiff at first, seem to hold your foot in place more than a neutral shoe. I usually do my runs in Nike pegasus but these are my new shoe I like. Currently have about 100 miles on them and they are feeling better all the time. The first 50 or so miles they are stiff but they do come around and conform to your foot the more miles you put on them. Good arch support if you have a high arch. Some will like it and some will hate it.

I have been a runner for over 22 years. I started running in Nike shoes but went away because they started adding more gimmicks and became street shoes more than running shoes. Since then, I have worn almost every brand of running shoes with Asics being the most reliable. I have to say, in the past five years, there has been a renewed interest by Nike in building serious running shoes. Since purchasing the Zoom Elite+ 6, I have to say I really do like them. I like how they are low like a racing flat with support. I have no arches and these fit just fine. I am also a forefoot striker so the low heel is great. Another benefit is the reflective swoosh. In the short days of winter, it is good to get any protection you can get from automobiles. I wear a headlamp and a reflective vest. These add to the mix. The one complaint I have about these shoes is the support. The web mesh on the sides is a bit too supportive. I hope it loosens over time. I have run about 40-50 miles in these shoes already and I do feel it loosening a bit. These are really cool shoes and I am glad to see Nike getting serious about making running shoes for runners again.
I'd also recommend: Asics or New Balance
