This is my third time purchasing the Nike Vapor Headphones (the family dog ate my first pair and the second pair was stolen along with my iPod). I have been using them since 2009 for running outdoors and working out in the gym. I am a petite female who has never had luck with universally sized sport headphones fitting snugly enough for physical activity. So the fact that these adjust to fit my ears is amazing. In addition, I have never had an issue with the pivot joint, wires, or any other part. I love them.

The Nike Vapor Sport Headphones sound great, however I do not recommend them for active people. They to heavy for long runs and require maintenance. I had to buy a small tool to tighten the very small screw at the pivot point because it keeps loosening. Good for an airplane ride, not for running.

This is the fourth pair of these I've had. The first three I liked, but I broke the first two and the third pair mysteriously stopped working one day. My ears are seemingly too small for normal earbuds, and the other wrap-around types never fit my ear. These you can move the part that goes over your ear both up and down and about a spherical rotating pivot thing. This pair is heavier than the first 3 pairs I had, making them awkward sometimes. They often fall out if I am doing things like bicycles crunches or side planks, but they stay on well for cardio. I liked my previous pairs better, but these still work better for me than other designs.

The headphones are very well-made, and I particularly like the adjustable over-ear hook - it keeps the earbud nice and secure while running. The sound quality is as good as any other earbud type headphone I've used. The only thing I dislike is that there is a kind of bump on the in-ear portion of the headphone - presumably to keep it in place - that doesn't fit as well as I'd like, and gives me a headache after a while.

Good sports headphones but not super-comfortable. It does not easily slip-off when I am sweating but causes some discomfort when I use it for up to 1 hour at a time.
