I've been looking for a super-light slide for a while and have finally found a great one in this Nike Solarsoft Slide. I was originally looking for just a sandal I could throw in my carry-on bag (lightweight, thin) but I like this slide so much that it has replaced my staple Adidas Adilette. Here's what I love: incredibly lightweight (lightest one I've found), very comfortable despite the lightweight, rubber-like material. This is the only slide I've owned that actually stays on your feet when walking briskly. The rubber-like material "grips" your foot (with or without socks). It's actually very difficult to kick off, the countour of the bandage upper (which is higher on the front of the slide - even covering your little toe) is extremely comfortable, and may help in keeping the slide on your foot (see above). One piece - the bandage is a seamless part of the slide mold, so there are no creases or risk that it's going to break. Also, no annoying velcro which comes apart. It's stylish - looks very sharp. What I don't like: the ridges on the footbed. Like some of the "massaging" sandals, this one has ridges, which I find quite annoying. Do I just have sensitive feet, or does everyone else hate these? For ultimate comfort, Nike, please get rid of the "massaging" ridges - they hurt. Fortunately, the ridges aren't nearly as pronounced as in many of the "massaging sandals", so they are bearable. This would be the perfect sandal without the ridges. Enjoy!

These are the most comfortable slides I\'ve ever worn. I now have both the blue and black colors. I hope Nike continues to make this model, otherwise I need to stock up. As for Zappos, I have to add that their service and speed of delivery is outstanding. I\'ve made a couple of purchases over the past few months and have been extremely satisfied both times. They are now my first choice whenever I begin looking to make a purchase on-line.

I bought these slides to use in a gym locker room/shower. Pros, they are comfortable, dry quickly, have good traction on wet floor. Cons, if you just walk in these, the deep grooves help keep your feet dry, but if you use them in a shower, the water gets trapped in the grooves, makes it difficult to dry your feet, and you need to make an effort to get it out.

I have to say that overall, I enjoy these Nike. I use them exclusively around my house. These shoes have nice feel to them, almost like they are contoured around your feet. If you are the type of person who likes to wear socks with their slippers, you'll probably not like these. You'd probably need a size bigger to get socks to fit inside. Other than that, you should definitely enjoy the comfort of these shoes. I can definitely see these shoes doing real well around trips to a beach, or a boardwalk. Simply put, if comfort and feel are on the top of your list, you should grab a pair.

Overall, I'm happy with these slides. The only negative thing I can say about them is the size is just a little to long for my foot. I ordered a 12 which is my true size and they feel and look like a 13 length wise. It's not a big deal for me though. Like I said overall I'm satisfied with the purchases.

Great slide! Purchased for my 12 yr old and tried them on myself - they\'re super comfy. Needed a shoe comfortable to walk in all day. Seems to run a bit larger than marked but it doesn\'t bother him at all.

My husband just loves these sandals. He has heel spurs and has trouble wearing shoes without lots of padding in the heels. Does not need the padding in these as they are so soft and comfortable. He has two pairs one in each color.

Review Text: These are man's slides, for sure, but I'm a woman, and I bought them to walk around the house when I do some housework. They don't look extremely attractive, but they are comfortable to wear. I always wear socks, it's cold here in Wisconsin, so all those flip-flops are not for me. That's why I was looking for a long time, trying to find slides, which don't have anything between your toes, so you can wear them with socks. There is not big choice, so I was happy enough to find these. When I first ordered them, I didn't realize these were man's and the sizes were man's too! So I needed to exchange them two times, before I got the right size. I normally wear 7.5 woman's size, and I finally got 7 size for these. They are still a little bit large, but I have wide feet and high instep: I wanted to make sure that even very thick socks would fit into them.

Styling is simple and unobtrusive. Materials are pretty plain rubber. They are probably great for wet environments like locker room or shower conditions, but the material clings to socks making it hard to just 'slide' in and out of these 'sliders'. The cuff could be more comfortable if lined inside and being that the insole is also rubber, those prone to perspire may find that body heat is easily generated from the sole of the foot in contact with insoles. Outer soles are decent and grip well on smooth surfaces like hard wood floors and low pile carpets. Very lightweight and flexible. Not really stylish enough for wearing out for the flip-flop fans. I will probably go back to fit-foam Adidas or other similar products by that brand after these.

The Nike Solar Slide is comfortable to wear but I don't think it will last a long time due to the materials that they used.
Brands I'd also recommend: Mizuno Runbird, but not available at Zappos.com

Very nice fit, size 14, great for around the pool. Soft spongey feel. Zappos is great they have hard to find sizes online I purchase 90% of my footware from Zappos.
