I was eager to try these out because they're one of the few Nikes that come in wide. They were comfortable, the sole was nice and stiff in the toe area (I suffer from turf toe so that's a plus) but this shoe in my opinion has one fatal flaw. The heel is very rounded which by itself is okay, but the rubber outsole was so soft it felt prone to ankle roll. The insole was just a flat piece of foam, with no attempt at arch support. Rather than wear them on the court and make them non-returnable, I decided to keep looking for the perfect wide basketball shoes.

Great shoes for b-ball and volleyball! I'm a girl, and I will say that these shoes are approximately equivalent to 9.5 wides for women.

I tried 3 pairs of Nike basketball shoes and I think I'm going to go with this one as my favorite for the price. Excellent gripping, good support. Just tight enough on the end of the foot. Seems like it will last long.

These are good quality, very light shoes, provided with incredibly nice service from Zappos. I loved the speed of shipping and efficiency. They check their email right away and try to help you. Other places can take several days.

Construction was shoddier than what I'd expect from a Nike. Lots of small threads etc. still sticking out. Not all joints were glued seamlessly. Sadly, didn't return shoe, as was heading out of country and needed a pair immediately.

Shoe seems of good quality and is comfortable. Simple styling which is what I want. Bought for use when motorcycling, where you want to cover anklebone. True to size but possibly slightly to the small side, less than half a size though. Good price.

The shoe is a little stiff compared to the older Overplays I had. Thought it was just because they where new but I've played with them a number of times. Overall a solid basketball shoe though.

My husband wears a very big shoe. It is hard to find size 15 in any shoe but we found zappos.com. We were a little leery about ordering online but it really worked out well. The shoes fit great and shipping was free! Great selection, great deal!

I was very happy to right this review for Zappos. This was first purchase through Zappos and now I am obsessed. The shoes I ordered for my boyfriend, and they fit him perfect. Most of the time we have problems finding his size 14, but Zappos had a great selection! The shoes are great!

I bought this sneaker as a replacement everyday sneaker. I wore it daily and it eventually became my basketball sneakers. I liked them so much that when I had used them up I bought one more pair. Great sneaker, comfy and supportive.

One of my favorites. A little difficult to put on, but good support without cutting into the back of your ankle. Not much arch support so I use orthotics inside.

I have been very happy with these shoes. I have wider feet so ordered EE size, and have been happy with the fit and comfort. They provide a lot of angle support, which I also like although the angle sides make them harder to put on without really loosening the laces a lot.

I bought these for my 13 year old son for basketball. He has to wear orthotics and has some issues with his feet as he is growing so fast! He says these shoes are very comfortable! And they seem to be holding up well, too. This is his second pair of Nike Overplay.

I bought these shoes because I needed shoes to wear in the rain. They are pretty comfortable and practically waterproof, but they are not really designed to be tied tightly.
