Not nearly as accurate as a standalone heart rate monitor, but way more fun than a pedometer. I use daily for walks and running. Tells elapsed time, calories burned, distance; and lets me switch applications, run to satellite radio on my phone, use a play list or podcast, and even take the odd phone call, pausing while I pause to talk. I love this thing. Only two pitfalls: I would like to sync to my local computer, not Nike, and there is no facility for that, and the shoes I bought to use this with destroyed my feet within a week, giving me plantar fascia in the right heel. I now wear this under the laces of my old Brookes or New Balance shoes.

I bought this to use on walks. In short, it's not very accurate, it continually loses the connection to my iPhone (sometimes for days at a time) and if you stop moving for more than about 15 seconds, the software goes into pause mode, with no recovery other than a manual restart. All in all, not very useful in my application.

Works just fine and is a great motivator during my workout. I just wish the sensors were rechargeable so I didn't have to replace one every year.

I'm really pleased with this sensor. My only complaint is that it isn't compatible with my iPod Classic so I've had to swipe my son's Nano to use it. But I knew this before I purchased it.

For my walking routines, it's not showing itself to be so accurate. "Wildly inaccurate" best describes the last reading I got after a walk that was closer to three miles was measured as being 0.4 miles. I bought a sensor because the Nike+ app came standard on my iPod, but I think a GPS tracker app on my phone would be better than this rig. I'll try to calibrate it the best I can, but if that doesn't work, I won't be buying another sensor after the battery on this one runs out.
