Great guards...fit very comfortably on my 11 year old. I purchased a large; he uses size 12 jeans. I was a little confused about the size before I purchased, but they run true to size. He's an active soccer kids and he loves them and I love how adorable they look.
Brands I'd also recommend: Addidas, pumas

I've now purchased these for my husband and each of my two sons. They find them comfortable and lightweight and the sleeves are holding up really well (I wash and dry them weekly on delicate cycle). The part I love the most is that they don't smell like the pull on shin guards start to.

Excellent product. Comfortable, lightweight, sturdy protection. My son and daughter play U10 and U12 club soccer, and in the last year or two progressed to these from the armored tank models that have ankle protectors. They were wary about leaving that area exposed, but have never gotten kicked. The sleeves do get out of shape fairly quickly, and are not readily available at Sporting goods stores. Just sayin'.

Bought this for my 12 year old nephew. Fit great. Very comfortable. Could not find product in sporting good stores. Great product. Very fast shipping. I recommend this product and Zappos!

I really wanted to like these - they look great, and they are lightweight. However, the fit is not comfortable at all. The foam on the inside is incredibly hard and doesn't offer much cushioning. The slanted, ergonomic shape fits wonderfully on the top, but the point of the lower edge actually dug into my ankle and made it painful to move around. They probably would've been fine if either the bottom edge was flat or if the foam was softer, but the combination of the two made these unusable for me - it wasn't worth enduring the discomfort to break these in. Those with wider shins might have more luck.
