I just bought the gray/red color and just used it for an 8.2 mile run this morning. First, size run about 1/2 inch short. I typically wear 11 and I ordered 11.5 based on other reviews and it fits perfect. Second, the shoes are very comfortable and I knew it as soon as I put them on. The shoe collar is very well padded and soft. I love how the collar's material felt soft around my ankle. Third, the shoe is light but gives excellent cushioning and support. I also like mesh material which allows my feet to stay cool and drier than normal. Conclusion, I recommend these shoes. I am 5'8, 166lbs, male, 44 years old, mild over pronator and I average about 30-40 miles a week. I normally wear Brooks but decided to try Nike Lunarglide +4 since I like the color and style.

I absolutely hate hate hate these shoes. I've tried a lot of running shoes and these are by far the worst I've every bought. At first step in, I liked them. But walking a couple steps I tripped on the front ends. They run large and a bit wide. When I walk I feel like they are loose around the ankle even though they are properly laced and tied. The support is moderate but because the size runs large it feels like the arch support is not totally in the correct place. These shoes have turned me off Nike now, probably forever. Their idea of and ideal foot doesn't work for me.

I was skeptical at first since this was my first pair of Nikes; however, I've been wearing them daily to commute to work (about 1.5 miles/day) and I have to say that these are one of the comfiest pairs of shoes I've ever had (and of course I get lots o' comments about the vibrant red color).

First of all I would like to say that Zappos is second to none in customer assistance and care. I am deployed and I got my shoes faster than I expected. I love these shoes, I had been running in Nike Frees and decided to try something new. I broke my Lunar Glides in running about 3 miles at a time in them. I ordered them specifically for a half marathon that I recently completed. They were just as comfortable for 13.1 miles as they were through 3. I personally feel that they are a little heavier than I expected, but that was a non issue, these shoes make you feel like your feet are wrapped in a cloud. Longest run that I've ever run with the half marathon and not one blister. I love these shoes.

I developed posterior tibialis tendonitis about six months ago. Basically I over pronated and developed flat feet. I,m currently undergoing physical therapy and this shoe has been helpful in keeping my pain at bay. Even my physical therapist likes my shoes.

I switched to these shoes after using Nike Free Run 3s for a while. My heel had been bothering me, so I went to a podiatrist. He told me that I should switch to something with more support and padding -- so I went with the Lunarglide. After a few runs with the Lunarglides, I'm not sure how I ever used a "minimalist" shoe. The Lunarglides offer great padding and support (and they're pretty light!). Highly recommended.
