Ran the Boston Marathon in these and they were more than up to the task. Great cushioning. They offer less stability than some others out there, but if I had to choose between these or the Nike Free, I'd take these every time!

I was looking for a running shoe that wasn't bulky while still having enough support for someone that runs 25-30 miles/week. This shoe does exactly that. Super light with plenty of support! Great shoe. :)

This shoe is very light. Despite this, it is as well cushioned as many heavier shoes. Suitable for the neutral runner over marathon distances. Low heel lift is good for midfoot strikers. Do not wear sockless.

Nike brought back the original and I am so happy for it! Not going to make the same mistake as last time - I have three pair sitting in boxes as the V2 - its added 2 ounces were downright poor. Hello, the best marathon racers I've found!

Super light and plenty of cushioning in the fore-foot. I normally run with stabilized shoes, but have really enjoyed these and have put many miles on them with no problems or injuries. A really narrow shoe, however, people with wide feet may find them uncomfortable. Order a half size larger than normal Nike size though.

I love this shoe! As a racewalker, I need a lightweight, flexible shoe and this is one of the best I've ever used. Some other racing flats wear out too quickly, but I can get 350-400 miles/pair.

Love, love these shoes. They are the lightest running shoes I own. They do run small. I wear size 6 in regular shoes so I ordered a half size up for running shoes. Even at size 6½, the shoes are a snug fit on me (narrower than other running shoes). Overall, I will purchase another pair of Lunaracers. Zappos shipping is phenomenal. I ordered at 4PM and received the shoes 7PM the next day! Thanks Zappos

Funky and comfortable - These have good cushioning, support and are really, really light. Plus they look cool -- they have more of a Chuck Taylor profile then the big bulky running shoe I am used to wearing. Though they are the tiniest bit snug on my wide feet, they are really comfortable. Buy 1/2 size up.

Works for me! Lunaracer is light but has good impact protection. Color is ugly but who cares if they work. Three races, two first, one second, on the shoes, including as 1st place 65-69 at the Vulcan 10K 7 November. Ordering a second pair for rotation.
Brands I'd also recommend: Ohana Racer, if you can find them

This is one of the most comfortable running shoes I\'ve ever purchased. They are extremely light and very popular with the fast runners, but you can also enjoy walking around town in them. The Lunaracer+ is equipped with the Nike+ technology which allows you to track your workouts on your iPod.
Brands I'd also recommend: Nike Free 5.0

I bought these shoes in the spring time and have put a fair amount of miles on them. I had the Hayward 3's before these and I just bought another pair of them, too, I liked them so much. The Lunaracers are probably the lightest shoe I've felt in my life and the cushion isn't bad either. Their durability is alright but the base is like a styrofoam material with some rubber inlays. It's holding up alright so far though, just normal wear and tear. I was going to wear these for a half marathon in the early summer, but they get a little uncomfortable after a solid 5-6 miles so I opted to wear different shoes. Basically, these are very nice, light, and quick racers that would be excellent in my opinion for 5k-10k's. No faster shoe out there.
Brands I'd also recommend: Asics gels

Wow are these shoes bright. The pic does not capture just how vivid they look in person. They fit like most Nike shoes, a bit smaller than most other brands, but they broke in rather nicely and fit great after 3 to 4 runs.

This was a full size smaller than marked. So for sure go a full size up. I just ran a full marathon in these and they are awesome. They are very well cushioned even though it seems like they are not.

This is my second pair. I log a lot of 6-15 mile runs in these shoes and find them comfortable. They only last about 3 months of steady running but most others I've worn don't last much longer.

I'm someone who is an overpronator and generally wears stability running shoes like my Nike Structure Triax 14's. However, I recently began running shorter races like 10k's and wanted something lighter that still provided some stability. These were the answer. Extremely light and still comfortable. I would definitely recommend these. Also, I usually wear 10 in Nike's, however these run small so I moved up to 10.5. The 10.5's fit perfect.

A nice technical, but simple-seeming shoe. Not quite as cushioned as the discontinued LunarTrainer, but I'm running in them every third day or so when on a track or fairly clean (non-rocky) surface. I just wish shoes like this weren't so ugly, since I wear them out after 6 months or so, and would like to use them for casual wear - but they scream "dork alert."
Brands I'd also recommend: I generally run in Nike

I love this shoe because it's so light. It's perfect for running. I have also used it for circuit training and although it is comfortable I don't recommend the shoe for circuit training. My feet slide around in the shoe when I am doing lunges and such. Other than that minor flaw the shoe is great.

(I'm a high school cross country and track runner - I average between 30 and 40 miles a week, I have semi-wide feet and low arches.) I had been wanting this shoe for a while and finally got them this past Christmas. I went up half a size and it still felt tight (very cushy). But from previous reviews I read that it would stretch so I stuck with it...bad idea. During my first run after running past the 1st mile I developed slight hot spots, but nothing serious, but my toes were really constricted (no splay for me). Overall it was fine. But later on in this year I got a black toenail. I also got major shin splints and believe I developed a stress fracture in my lower left shin (I attribute all of this to high heel and big differential between the heel and forefoot). I'm currently on a break from running to hopefully get rid of the pain. I won't be running in these anymore and will go back to my Asics DS-trainers for the mean time. These shoes are for those that can stand a high heel and have thin feet. This is a great shoe for tempo runs, but horrible for intervals because your foot tends to slide forward. Moderate for long runs I wouldn't go over 8 miles for a regular person.
Brands I'd also recommend: saucony, asics(ds trainer or skyspeed or a flat)
