These are really nice shoes but my 3 year old complains that the top rubber laced part is too tight and there is no way to adjust it. He can't wear them because of this. I would recommend the shoes but make sure your child has very narrow feet.
I'd also recommend: first shoes bought from here

My 3 year old loved it. But I was concerned because didn't know it was that narrow, and he doesn't have narrow feet. He said it doesn't hurt him, but you know little kids...but I liked it very much.

These shoes are fantastic for narrow feet. Most toddler shoes are made for kids wide, squat feet. I have a hard time fitting my son who has little, scrawny feet. I was so happy to find these. They are perfect for little ones with narrow feet.

I was looking for hi-tops, and these are not hi-tops. They are slightly higher in the front, but no support on the ankle in the back. They feel very tight (narrow) on my son. He does not have wide feet and has never complained of this in any other shoe. I also thought they run about a 1/2 size smaller. My son is 6 years old. I got him the size 10. The other problem is that he can't get these on himself. The laces don't actually tie. They are permanent and are a bit stretchy, but not stretchy enough. And because they are so narrow he needs a lot of assistance in getting them on. I wish they were hi-tops all around the shoe and that the laces were real laces. They are extremely cute and soft and have great grips on the sole, I wish they would have worked out better.

Too narrow for small chubby toddler feet. Could not get my child's feet in the shoes. Sending them back.
