These shoes are amazing! I have been looking for so long for a great pair of gym shoes...with lots of strikeouts and frustrations along the way. When these became available on Zappos, I jumped on them right away and am so glad I did! They feel like you are literally wearing no shoes, yet are supportive and comfortable at the same time. A little arch support, but not as much as the Lunarglide line, which I like. Low profile, super flexible (seriously, I can bend them entirely in half), and the memory foam in the heel is great. The elastic band around the ankle is just enough to keep them on your feet but not so much that it cuts into your skin. Good room in the toe box for the multiple activities one does at the gym and elsewhere. Highly recommended; Nike really got this one right! (Oh, and like most Nike's, I ordered a half size up from my regular size and they fit like a glove.)

I love, love these sneakers. The most comfortable and light weight sneakers I have ever owned! I bought them in red and gray combination and in few days of wearing them I already got a lot of compliments. They look great and feel great, can't go wrong especially if you are a runner.

Very comfortable, great stability. Perfect for aerobics, dance, step aerobics, or any gym machine (stairmaster, elliptical, treadmill, etc.) I'm so glad I chose these. I'm sure I'll buy another pair when these give out!
Brands I'd also recommend: The Nike Free line is the BEST!

I am partial to the "Free" styles by Nike since rehabbing my foot after a year with Plantar Fasciitis. I own several pairs of the Nike Free running shoes. These are a little more "stylish". I love the way they look and fit, but had to order a size up as true to Nike form, they run small. I have wide, flat feet and usually wear a 10. I always order a Nike 11 and these fit perfectly. The only downside is that they are made of plastic and don't seem to have any ventilation...at all. So, my feet get really hot. It's okay right now...but don't know if I'll be able to wear them in the summer.

Very comfy shoes! Extremely soft and light! I love them! They're beautiful! I ordered an 8.5 since I'm always on that size for Nike shoes although I am really a size 8 in most of the other shoes. As always, thanks Zappos for a very prompt shipping!

I was looking for a good cross trainer to stand up to bootcamp and kickboxing. I have a narrow foot and I walked out of the shoe even though there is elastic at the top. I also did not like the fabric. It did not seem like it would breathe well. I ended up returning the shoe.

These shoes are amazing! They are super light, comfortable, flexible, and stylish. I love these Nikes. As always when purchasing Nike shoes, I order half a size up from the size I usually wear. These shoes are so light, that I did not feel them weighing me down while I was training. Since they arrived (thank you, Zappos, for the extremely fast delivery) I have been practically living in them.

I love them! These are light-weight and so comfortable. I feel like I'm wearing slippers. I am fifty years old and have bad legs. I am a junior high teacher, so I stand all day on cement (covered with carpet). My legs get so tired and achy, but not with these! I've had so many compliments and I am thinking of buying another pair!

Unfortunately not supportive for high arches. For the purposes of an effective review, arches are so difficult to quantify, but I have fairly high arches. If I step in the sand or you draw around the part of my foot that makes contact with the floor, I have the ubiquitous bare footprint of the toes, ball of foot, outside of the foot, and the heel (the measurement up to the apex of my arch is 1 inch) hope that helps to quantify. I really like the construction, materials and style of the Nike Free TR Twist ST. They are a 'barefoot' style that are intended to be worn with either no socks or very thin socks, so I ordered my regular street shoe size of 7.5. They fit perfectly, I could also wear thin socks if I wanted which is nice. I do P90X and BodyRock so I wanted these for moderate jumping around and calisthenics but they offer zero arch support for me so they are going back. A little about me. I am 49 years old, and work out almost daily. I am fit and have a BMI of 21.5. Because of my age, I have noticed that my workout and running shoes need to be super supportive in the arches or I develop tendon issues in my ankles and heels. Unfortunately, these just are not supportive enough (they miss by 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch) in the arches. I also suspect that the foot-bed is a little flat for me as well. I have worn high-heels my entire adult life and have therefore shortened my tendons. I tried another pair of 'barefoot' style shoes that did have enough arch support, but wound up developing ankle tendon pain because my heel was so low in the shoe. I know this is a lot of information, but I hope it will help others discover what difficulties they may have in finding shoes that offer enough support. I am going to leave the ratings at 5 Stars, because I feel they are well-made, good shoes, they are just not supportive enough for me, but I don't feel that is a reason to knock them in the ratings.

They are comfy and good for general gym workouts or light runs. I wouldn't recommend them for kickboxing or cross-fit type classes as I didn't feel they offered much lateral support.

I love these! They're super light and comfortable. I mostly wear them to the gym (treadmill, elliptical, light weights) and to walk my dog. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the color since I was teetering between these and the grey/lime green/light blue ones, but I'm glad I got the red ones. They're super bright and really encourage me to work out. I'm typically a 5.5 (+/- .5 size depending on the shoe). I ordered a 5 in these because I tried a 6 on in the store and they were super big. The 5 fits perfectly!

These shoes are great in everyway except not true to size. They are at least 1/2 size too small. So if you are a size 8, buy a 8 1/2 or even a 9.
Brands I'd also recommend: Sketchers

I bought these shoes based on other reviews (which were athletic/sports oriented--not fashion)...I pronate (etc)--so here is the deal: when I wear them on the elliptical, they absolutely kill on an incline--but when I teach classes (kick boxy, high impacty, Tabata workouts), they feel great; if you need more support, don't get them--too scrunchy--but despite that, they really feel aweseome on the floor; I have also gotten compliments on how they look

Extremely light and comfortable. Flexible sole, is good for weightlifting, which is when I wear these. I do not wear them for running, as they don't have quite enough support for me. Seems to run true to size. I like this shoe very much, but the only downside - the fabric at the ankle is almost like the back of a ballet flat - it will pinch into my ankle after a day of wearing it, even through socks. No way to adjust.
