I have three pair of Nike Free. As for running they are fine as long as you are running on a track or smooth surface. They are not good for running on a track that has rocks or pebbles. The rocks and pebbles get stuck in the sole and you can feel them when you run. I love these shoes for Zumba. They are so flexible and give you the freedom you need when dancing. Buy an athletic inner sole and get rid of the Nike inner sole that they come with.

Fits average size 9 perfectly. Unique barefoot feel but very comfortable! Wore them sight-seeing in DC and they felt great. Looks a little wide across the toe, but not extremely wide as to be unattractive.
Brands I'd also recommend: Born, Clarks, Naturalizer.

I also own Nike Free Run shoes, and I can say that these definitely have a lot more support across the toe area for planting and pushing off in a sideways movement. They feel snug across my toes which is something I like since my wee sized feet are generally swimming in other shoes. I get compliments on the looks of the waffle design and they generally have kept my feet a bit warmer than my Free Run shoes with their mesh type upper.

Received these yesterday and was so excited to wear them to my kickboxing class. They are exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a supportive shoe yet flexible enough to withstand aggressive moments. They are so lightweight I almost felt like I was barefoot. I purchased the white/silver/plum and I received many compliments on them in the gym. I would highly recommend these for someone who takes kickboxing classes. They are perfection! Zappos is amazing! Super fast shipping and excellent customer service!

Great, great shoe. I run 5-7 miles in them, three times a week on New York city streets. They are so awesome...just so comfortable, haven't come untied once during a run. Feels like wearing a sock and doesn't weigh my foot down.

Very comfortable! They don't really have much foot support, so I would highly recommend an athletic insert for better support if using them for exercise.

These are super comfortable. I'm on my feet for 10 hours a day at work and every other shoe leaves me achy. Not these. They're light, flexible, roomy, plus warmer than the regular Nike Free's for winter wear. I also use them on weekends for running and exercise. My feet never get tired wearing these.

As always your level of service was excellent. The shoes arrived the next day which I found incredible considering I placed the order late the prior night. Aldo your price was lower than other places. I love Zappos! The shoe was a gift so I can't tell you much about the questions bellow.

Excellent shoe for Jazzercise. Takes impact well and gives great support during all movements. You have to give them a chance as it feels like you're wearing slippers. Once you get used to them, you will love them. I'm ordering another pair.

I purchased the Nike Free TR Winter with a magenta Nike icon! They are super comfy, and I love the way that they feel like the next best thing than being barefoot! I find after walking long distances in these my feet feel great! My teenage daughter has some to and uses them for running track! Cannot wait to buy more frees! :)

I received my shoes yesterday with a free one day shipping being a vip customer. I was upgraded by the very nice MYA. I am sad to say that the shoes are a little snug with socks on. It doesn't leave enough room for my toes. I ordered a size 7.5 and with socks on, it felt like a size 7. If I don't wear socks it feels fine but who wants stinky feet? I don't! Sadly, the shoes has been returned and I don't think I can get a size 8 since size 7.5 was the only size available for that color. bummer!

This is a great shoe. It's lightweight and is really comfortable. I use this shoe for the gym, although I am not an avid runner. I have a slightly wider foot than normal (but not wide enough to need a wide size) and the width of this shoe is perfect.

I love this shoe. I have foot problems and needed a comfortable shoe with support for everyday wear and for walking. The TR Fit is lightweight, comfortable yet durable. I own 2 pairs. Nike, please keep making this shoe!

Read reviews on these and sounded like a good winter shorter run sneaker. I am happy to say it is! I got my usual sneaker size 9.5 in the black and am very happy after 3 runs in them. I am not going to do over 10 miles in them, did 8 and felt great. Hoping they fix my body mechanics and make me run better. Loved the pink laces included and they are much warmer than my regular mesh sneaks. I also had a pair of silver laces and may switch it up for a fun look! Thanks for the great service.. will order another color for the spring!

These were for my daughter for Christmas - very hard to find the color locally and in her size. As always, Zappos made it easy to have both...and have them almost instantly it seemed. Very nice transaction and she's worn the shoes a few weeks and loves them.
