Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to widthI bought this shoe because it was supposed to be great for people with little to no foot arch. They are a running shoe dream come true. These are possible the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They are so light, it almost feels as though you are not wearing anything on your feet.

As others have commented, the Nike Free runs narrow. This is a good thing for me since I have skinny feet; however, I have to wear thin socks with them. They are very comfortable.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthI love these shoes! I picked these up for working out at the gym and for athletic classes. They are perfect. They are lightweight and feel like I am wearing just socks. I think that these are the perfect shoes for a good workout. I am a long distance runner, and I don't think that these are very good for a long run, so I use a more supportive shoe for that. But for everything else, I use these shoes and they are great! I did think they ran a teeny bit small. I usually wear a 6.5 and picked up a 7.

Just got these and already can tell they are super comfortable with great support, especially in the heel. Very light shoe overall. One thing you can’t tell from the photos is that the laces are on an angle so looks a little funny, but perhaps designed to support the foot better. They also seem like they might be a bit less water resistant than leather sneakers, but compensating by being very breathable and light. Looking forward to wearing these and will likely order another pair at some point. They are keepers!

Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: No arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthI had just read the book Born to Run which recommends a shoe change to avoid running injuries. The theory is that less is more. I have done at least 10 5+ mile runs in these and my legs and knee (6 surgeries) feel great. I have also worn them to Zumba class; they are perfect for that type of movement. Runs a little small with normal socks, I think they are meant to be worn barefoot. I bought both my usual size 5 and a 5.5 to wear with thicker socks.

These shoes are awesome. They feel great and they're so light! I love them for sports. They run true to size compared to Nike Air Max Moto.

This item was out of stock in my size and color when I first checked. I asked Zappos to notify me when they became available. It was the very next day! I ordered them immediately and received them very quickly. Great for everyday wear or my running routine. I am very satisfied with the Nike Free 5.0 V4 in pink and gray!

I ran in these for about 100 miles. They were better than my New Balances, but in the end I strained my right shin just the same. Recently I switched to the Nike Free 3.0's and I find they're much better. A smaller heel, less arch support, and a more flexible toe makes the 3.0 much more barefoot-like. The 5.0's are okay, but the 3.0 are much better.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: No arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthThis is my 2nd pair. I put 300 miles on the first pair. They are great minimalist shoes, comfortable, lightweight. They run small by a half size. The all mesh upper keeps your feet nice and cool.

I ordered two pair of the Nike Free 5.0 V4, in black and red, Tuesday morning, and went for a run in them Wednesday night! Zappos shipped overnight for free. My street shoe size is 6.5M, and I always order a 7M for sport shoes. These fit great in a 7M. I did, as another review noted, experience a bit of cutting into the left foot, not sure what caused that, maybe the side of the foot was getting pinched. Despite that issue, I think they are fantastic. I am a neutral pronator and don't like high ankle support, this model fit my needs perfectly. I have paid nearly double for other more bio-mechanical running shoes that I doubt I will ever wear again. I run 40 miles a week and hope that with the freedom of these shoes that I can increase that number. The shoe is very light and flexible, and allowed for more natural motion of the foot.

Really like these shoes for running. They are so lightweight. They did feel a little tight across the balls of my feet the first time I wore them, but it's not a problem anymore. Would definitely recommend.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt narrower than markedSuper lightweight. I heard these shoes ran small so I ordered a full size larger. I'd say they run a size small and somewhat narrow. I loved this seamless, lightweight running shoe. It cushioned just right without any bulk. I have never seen a shoe that can compare. But ultimately they were too narrow for my Flintstone feet. With the help of awesome customer support, I found a similar style in men's. Men's standard is a women's wide. They shipped it the next day before I could get the first pair back in the mail. I ended up switching from Women's size 8.5, Nike Free 5.0 V4 to the men's size 6, Nike Free Everyday+ 2. And then the 6.5 because I wanted more wiggle room while working out. The Nike Free men's wasn't as lightweight in design as the women's, but still nice. And it doesn't seem too lightweight for street running. Each time, my shoes were at my house the next day even though I processed my purchase and exchanges as late as 7:00 pm EST. Thanks Zappos!

Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: No arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthBest Athletic Shoe Solution - Do not expect to immediately go out on a long run with this "barefoot shoe" if you're used to regular running shoes, but if you want to do your feet and legs a favor, this is worth the time to adjust. Without a lot of shoe in the way, the muscles of your foot work for you, allowing your arch to work as it was intended; but to run comfortably, you'll need to go back to a "natural" stride and not the longer, heel-strike (which has no shock absorption other than that provided from the shoe) encouraged by high-tech shoes, a stride that contributes to plantar fasciitis, shin splints and joint pain. For non-runners, also a great shoe for everyday workouts, especially balance training, because you can feel the ground but are still protected (it feels like the shoe and your foot are one). The fit is snug, but not uncomfortable. (I ordered a half-size larger than my street shoe, which was perfect.) I wear mine without socks, and I'm ordering a second pair so I can alternate use. This has been my answer to foot pain, and I'll never go back to a traditional athletic shoe. To better understand what you're getting in a barefoot shoe, check out the videos on YouTube or read Chris McDougall's book "Born to Run." You need to train your foot muscles (barefoot running in the grass, yoga or pilates) and start slow to get the full benefit, and you need to relearn running, but if you do, you'll leave running injuries and foot pain behind. This is just one brand of many (but I think it's the best looking).

These shoes feel great, that is to say, you barely feel them on. They are not good for walking (the soles act like little suction cups), but when you get moving, they are light and airy. Your foot feels the ground and every bump. These are great for toughening up your feet. I would recommend no more than a few miles at a time a couple times a week and build up from there. If you are transitioning from traditional running shoes to barefoot, these are a nice segue. The color is great; you can find them in the dark and you stand out in the crowd.

This is my second pair of these. I wore through the last pair in about 8 months of daily use. I prefer them because they are so lightweight but still comfortable and slim. I am replacing these because the soles wore down on the last pair. I considered more expensive shoes, but these have a really nice 'rolling' motion as I'm walking. The only drawback with these shoes is the 'fingers' of the sole tend to pick up gravel, but this only became an issue once or twice. I am on my feet all day on tile floors and I enjoy the thought that these are working with my feet to make them stronger. I also wear these with dress socks at a half size larger than my regular shoe size.

These are the best shoes I have ever owned! I am thinking of buying 2 more pair just so I will always have them! I never wear socks with them and love them to death! They look good and feel like socks! I wear them running in the hills and to the gym to lift weights!

I ordered these a half size larger than my usual size and they just fit. I am having a little problem with the shoe rubbing against my toe, so I think they are a little too narrow. I\'m surprised, as I have never had a problem when I order a 7 Medium. They are cute and comfy on the bottom and I wear tham when I walk outside (1 to 2 miles). I just have to make sure I wear a really thin sock. For running, I prefer a more solid running shoe.

Recently, I purchased a pair of the Nike Free 4.0 women\'s athletic shoe. She selected the hot red and gray colors. Definitely not colors that I would have picked but sheâs got to wear them. Diane is an avid exerciser and her old pair was just giving out. She has gotten a lot of compliments on her choice of colors and she loves the fit and comfort of the she. I think that that we would both definitely recommend this shoe.
