These shorts rock. They are super lightweight, yet have a good solid waistband. I struggle to find shorts that fit good, but these seem to be the perfect true fit. They are excellent gym or running shorts.
Brands I'd also recommend: Asics, Lululemon

Bought these for my husband and he's loving them. The length is good. (He's 5'10) and rolls it once. Got them in LG but could have taken a MD but he's happy with the way they fit. He uses them for the gym and running!

Great shorts! I use them for running and unlike running shorts, the fabric is more substantial. Not thin like Nike's running shorts. I'm 5'8" and thin and bought the shorts in small. They hit right at the knee. Waist fits perfectly and they are not extremely baggy/loose.

Zappos was prompt. The shorts are a little longer than I'd expected and the fabric is more nylonie smooth than I like. However, I use them and like them.

Simple and elegant. Excellent, breathable material. I don't like typical running shorts because they're too high up and basketball shorts are too long for running. The perfect balance. I am 5'11 (160 lbs) and a got a large...hits right above the knee. I could have got a medium but I like the comfort of large (and it doesn't fall).

I bought these pants for my husband's work out at the gym. We have been so pleased with the lightweight fabric. Easy to wash and dries quickly. Perfect length for fast movement. Neither too short or too long. A winner!

The material doesn't feel comfortable... It's rather thin, coarse, and stiff and doesn't allow my skin to breathe. Overall, it looks and feels like poor quality fabric; I don't wear it to the gym.

These shorts are probably some of the best workout shorts around. They're not made out of mesh which is a huge plus since I don't like the weight/feel of mesh. Someone said the material wasn't breathable and while I can agree it is less breathable than some it's not that bad at all. I live in Central Florida and these shorts are perfectly fine for the weather. They allow you great movement and are very comfortable.
Brands I'd also recommend: Nothin but Nike

These are great shorts for warm weather activities. As to fit, I'm 5'9 and the hem of a Size-Medium hits right above the knees. Also, the waist can accommodate between 30 and 36 inches.
