Being a state 400m champion you tend to take your shoes for granted, but when chose my shoes I immediately went for this wonderful shoe. With an air unit giving maximum support and energy bounce back the Nike Air Retaliate is a sure fire athlete must.

Wow, unbelievable for the price. I had a pair of running shoes I bought 5 years ago and these are much lighter and comfortable for half the price. Super light, comfortable, stylish, affordable!

This shoe was brought for my 12 year old son who is getting increasingly picky. He says the shoe is fine, just like if you handed him a million bucks it would be fine. So I guess the shoe is good. He did complain about the mesh letting water in when he walks in wet grass, but the shoe was still fine.
Brands I'd also recommend: Keen, Reef

I was very happy with my purchase of these shoes from Zappos. They fit well and looked just like the picture. I use them mainly as sneakers for walking around town (not much for running) and they feel great for that purpose.
