Just started playing basketball after 10 years and so I needed a comfortable and stylish shoe. I got great compliments from my friends and since we play outside on a concrete basketball court, these shoes absorb the shock quite well.
Brands I'd also recommend: Reebok Zig basketball shoe

This is a great shoe. Hugs your ankles very well, gives great support, and fits comfortably like a sock. Has a lot of room in the toe; however, I had to go down half a size.

They were terrible. They kept giving me blisters on my toes when I run in the gym at basketball. Really bad shoes. Don't get them.

Got these for my husband, who wear's a size 15. He wears orthodic inserts for his problem feet, but he is able to play basketball without them in these. He especially like that these are all black--not at all like most of the space shoes available.

Quick impressions: Good feel at first. Started to wear down quickly. Sole in the right sneaker burst after about 3 hours of play. Wider in the toe than most other shoes I've owned. Good lateral stability and great weight. Average to poor heal support for active rebounders and power players. Left me with sore heels and knees. I play power forward, and play just for fun at the gym. I'm 6'5", weight about 210-215 and play mostly in the mid-range and paint. I don't play power post, but I rely on cut and shoot and active rebounding to get my points. After a few games, I felt my toes slipping around in the toes. No matter how tight I laced them, I could not stop it. Heel support was really poor and left my heel and knee feeling like it took more of a pounding than usual. After 3 hours of play, the heel and sole broke (clear plastic air compartments got small cracks). These look great and feel comfortable. They are good play around and every day shoes, but are definitely not durable enough for active court play.
Brands I'd also recommend: Nike / Adidas / New Balance
