Not what I expected...my heel slipped no matter how tight, seemed to be right size, and the overall support was lacking. Just disappointed!

No complaints here. Had the '09s, '10s and now the '11s. I feel they are getting better with every year. A super light shoe, feels like nothing is there. I love the dollar-bill-thin tongue, arch support, and "breatheability" of this shoe. My only wish was for the color orange.

This is a very comfortable, light, good looking shoe. I have had three previous AirMax versions and all have held up well for the past 5+ years. This model is the most comfortable of them all. I'm a big guy (6'4", 230 lbs) and these shoes really help support my knees and lower back. The black/volt color looks awesome too.

These shoes feel like you are running on a cloud. I feel very little impact on my foot. This shoe felt a little tight when I purchased it and I was considering purchasing a larger size, however it did expand a little after wearing it for about 10-15 minutes.

I generally don't but Nike air max shoes for running because of their almost overly absorptive nature which makes it sometimes hard to feel the ground. (If that makes any sense.) (If you want running go with the frees.) I have bought these shoes though for just walking around and daily use in general. They are great for that. The last pair I bought was the 2009 model and they still are in tact and have plenty of use in them. If you want a long lasting shoe that you can wear daily (i.e. to work, or casually) that makes you feel like you're walking on a cloud, you should try these.

These shoes are very comfortable for running, but there's a few minor complaints I have about them. From the look of the shoes, it appears that the fabric is nearly see-through all around, so I figured ventilation would be above average. This is not the case, my feet end up sweating in these more than my Nike Lunarglide 2s. So I use them for running, but no so much for routine daily use. Also, these probably make me about 2 to 3 inches taller. They feel like booster shoes. The cushioning is great though, so I guess that's the trade-off.
Brands I'd also recommend: Nike Lunarglide 2

These are well cushioned shoes. That is all. Its fit is very strange. Front of the shoes are very narrow. However, the rest of shoes are very loose. These shoes are not worth the money I paid for. These shoes are both overrated and overpriced.
Brands I'd also recommend: Mizuno, Merrell, Asics

I love these shoes! They give excellent support and are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. My only issue is that they seem a half size bigger than all of the other Nike shoes I have purchased in the past. They were well worth the money!
