This shoe is good for everyday use, but when I wanted to start running in it, I slowly became aware of the fact that these shoes are horrible to run in. It makes your feet feel uncomfortable and very rigid.
Brands I'd also recommend: Nike Free+ 2

Best running shoes I've ever owned great arch support and cushioning for running, and super lightweight, I was not expecting that when I first picked them up. They are definitely worth the money, and they are reasonably priced compared to some other running shoes.

I bought these shoes as general everyday shoes to replace another pair of Nikes that were falling apart. The only thing amiss with the fit is that there seems to be more support than necessary where the balls of my feet sit, so that it occasionally feels like the shoes are making my feet lean towards the outside of the soles. Most of the time this is barely noticeable, and I think it will get better as I continue to break in the shoes. Style-wise, you definitely notice that big mesh panel in the front, but as long as you do not mind that these are pretty good-looking shoes. The laces that come with the shoe are of the thinner, old-fashioned variety, and do a great job of really tying your foot into the shoe to help the fit. Overall they are about as good as I was expecting.
