The Nike Kids Maverick athletic shoe is just one of several products we've bought from Zappos. These shoes are our young man's favorites. They are true to size, comfortable and easily cleaned. I will say they didn't last a long as I'd hoped, he wore them out in two months so we had to order another pair! Zappos itself is awesome-great prices, quick and free shipping and a huge variety of products. We're Zappos hooked!!

Slightly narrow, and shorter. Size up at least a 1/2 size. Had to get a 5 for my son who should be a 4.

I was last minute shopping for back to school and my son was obsessed with finding the right 6.0 sneakers. He was going to buy a girls pair when I had him check Zappos, when we saw these that's it, that's what he wanted but sad that he couldn't wear them them the first day of school. After school that first day when get home and there is the Zappos box...what! Automatically they had been shipped next day without my request and my son was so excited and I was extremely pleased with their prompt shipment. Thank you Zappos.

The only shoe that my son liked was the Nike 6.0 Mid for Youth, the design that had velcro strap that came across the top of the laces (most of the other brands' mids had a tongue that was too bulky for my son to tolerate). The Nike 6.0 Kids Mavrk Mid 2 Jr. design is more like a pair of old-school Chuck Taylor Converse basketball shoes, flexible and flat bottomed, very light in weight, hardly any support, like a super-cheap version of the Nike 6.0 for the same price, but my son didn't mind (12 years old). I don't like the lack of support compared to the other design of Nike 6.0 Mid, despite my son thinking their OK. I will shop for another shoe besides Nike 6.0 the next time, because of the lack of quality and support. I'm sure that I can also find something better quality for the same amount of money.

My son (9, almost 10) loves these shoes and just asked for the same style for when he outgrows these. They are lightweight and my son tells me they are really comfortable. And in typical awesome Zappos fashion, they arrived incredibly fast. Kid loves the shoes, mom loves the service!
