I have deformed foot and ankle from fractures. These shoes are very comfy for walking and I was able to put extra padding in the one shoe for more stability. NB makes great shoes for painful feet without having to buy "comfort shoes" at twice the price.

I could tell the minute I put these on they would work. I have a very high instep so it is hard for me to find shoes that are comfortable. These fit perfectly! They aren't very pretty but they are very comfortable.

Fantastic shoes! We recently went on a trip to Japan, and I needed something that would hold up to a ton of walking but not look like orthopedic shoes. These were perfect! Very comfortable, right out of the box. They held up well to tons of walking every day. My feet have rarely felt this comfortable when I've got that much walking going on. The only negative is that they don't breathe all that well; it worked out well for a trip in the fall/early winter, but I don't know if I'd want to be wearing these if it was summertime and hot out.

Very comfortable walking shoe, also good for daily wear. Needed no breaking in. Advantages of a hiking shoe but much lighter weight. I wish it also came in black or grey. After opening the box, I wore these shoes everyday for a week with no problem.

Comfortable, lightweight, well-made cushy insole but no arch support. Seems a bit narrower and shorter than expected for a 7-1/2 wide, compared to other same size and width NB shoes I have, but they will do with a thinner sock. 4 stars due to those issues.
