This is an attractive shoe but not enough cushion or support for a cardio class It's more of a walking shoe with the bump in the heel for toning. I'll be returning these.

Cute shoes but not for narrow (2A) feet. The heel cut-out is wider than 2A, causes the shoes to rub the ankle.
Brands I'd also recommend: Need more selection for people with narrow feet

Wonderful shoe! I've actually received compliments at the gym. I was skeptical thinking these toning shoes really didn't work but I liked the black and silver design. I really do feel an extra workout from just walking in these shoes. Definitely worth the money. In fact, I just purchased another pair in the magenta, black and white.

I got these shoes because I injured my foot and needed something to wear to work other than dress shoes. They are super comfortable and even cute. They provide good arch support and I like the way they look with jeans.

New Balance WW855 are great shoes for a workout at the gym. They are also great to wear when I go shopping! Wonderful shoe for the price. Love my New Balance. Zappos delivered my shoes within three days. How cool is that?
Brands I'd also recommend: I only wear New Balance.

About New Balance
Since the days of selling arch supports to police officers and waiters, New Balance has been a brand concerned with meeting the needs of the everyday athlete. In pursuing this goal, they developed an "Endorsed By No One" philosophy, which holds that a superior product will sell itself better than any superstar athlete ever could. Part of producing New Balance shoes and athletic clothing is manufacturing it to fit all widths and sizes, because a better fit produces better performance.
To ensure the best fitting, best performing shoes and clothes, New Balance focuses on improving their technology and production methods. A big part of that is maintaining five manufacturing facilities here in the United States where they continue to produce New Balance shoes and apparel that meet the standards they've employed for 100 years. They have also remained committed to a core set of values that include integrity, teamwork and total customer satisfaction.

I found this to be a very interesting sneaker. It has a nice amount of room in the toe box area. It is definitely for either walking or aerobics. It's very comfortable while providing stability. I have a long (10.5 - 11) narrow foot and this was an excellent fit.

Really like these shoes! Light and cute. Very stable and good ankle support also which is important for a long, narrow foot like mine. The only con is that the tread design picks up small rocks! I walk daily on natural ground so that is a little inconvenient! NB still runs small so order up a size.

I'm wondering if I should buy a second pair, since I've worn out my first. I've used them successfully for zumba, walking, and even running. They look good under yoga pants too. Last time I bought them in an unpopular color, and they were cheaper. I'm not loving the regular price.

Love the shoes. Perfect for working out in the gym. Not as much support as a shoe made for running or long distance hiking, but then I don't need that in the gym Very stylish. Fits great. My size is 9N

I ordered 5D and the shoes fit my wide feet perfectly. The only problem is the insoles are so hard and stiff. After standing in them for about an hour, my feet hurt. So these unfortunately have to go back.

Not sold on this True Balance technology. Felt like there was a ball under my foot; very uncomfortable and destabilizing (I know, it's supposed to be destabilizing so you engage muscles to stabilize yourself ergo exercise, but I didn't feel secure on my feet). Also felt that they ran short and narrow compared to comparable New Balance athletic shoes.

I only bought these shoes, because New Balance stopped making Rock & Tone. These are pretty good, but I wish New Balance would reconsider making the Rack & Tone.

Love this shoe! Cannot tell at all it's "toning" and very lightweight. Remember New Balance's run wide so a B is good for most people with wider feet. Zappos is a really great place to order from!

Kudos to Zappos for 2-day delivery with standard shipping. The shoes arrived today and I tried them out by wearing them to the gym. New Balance is one of the few sports shoe makers offering the narrow width that I need. I have purchased one NB style in the past that was not true to size but this shoe feels just right. I also like the mesh exterior. The style features a higher heel than I expected but found out during my workout that the height provides nice cushioning for the heel. Some shoes have too much arch support, pressing hard into the arch, but the arch support of this shoe seems more like a forward extension of the cushioned heel bed. Due to cushioned heel, I will not use this shoe for walking. I prefer a a more rigid fit with a wider sole for walking. Admittedly, I need to wear the shoes for a while to fully report how they work out for me.
