Fits well and very comfortable right out of the box with no break in period. I would have liked better without the NB logo so it could be a better substitute for dress shoes.

These seemed really soft and cushioned, but after wearing them for a short while at home my bunion started to really hurt. Unfortunately, I'll have to return them. I guess if they were just a little wider across the top it would have been better. Zappos is as always the best.

Hello, I think Zappos' is the greatest thing since apple pie. I was looking for my New Balance sneakers that comes in a 4E width that I have been purchasing for years. The New Balance Website was too expensive. I didn't care if I bought last years model. Then I stumbled upon Zappos.com Poof all my problems were solved. I called to see about ordering with my son's credit card since they were a Mother's Day present. I spoke to Kevin and he gave me VIP Status which meant my sneakers would come over night and they were there the next day. I will order from Zappos for the rest of my life.

I've been a devoted fan of the WW811 for about a decade. When Zappos did not have my size in stock, I went to a New Balance store, only to be told that the WW811 is being replaced with the WW812. So, I bit the bullet and ordered a pair of WW812s from Zappos. I've been wearing them daily for about a month. First, if the shoe isn't immediately comfortable, it won't get comfortable with wear. It passed this test. The heels on both models have a slight indentation at the outside of the heel; it is deeper on the WW812, which was not entirely comfortable at first, but I got accustomed to it. While you're not supposed to do this, the WW811 is much easier to get onto the foot without a shoe horn; the back of the WW812 keeps folding in while trying to put it on this way. With plantar fasciitis, comfort trumps fashion with me any day; that said, these look a little "clunkier" than the WW811s. I exchange the lining for an orthotic and it works just as well with the WW812 as it did with the WW811. Had I not experienced the WW811, I would have given the WW812 a 5-star review all around; as it is, it's a great shoe, but I miss my 811s!

These are great shoes for walking for fitness or just wearing for errands. They fit just a little on the large size but are fine with thicker socks. They are very comfortable and work great with your on orthodics.

I have very wide feet and it is always a pain for me to find shoes that I fit into, let alone don't fall apart on me or roll over in a few months. I'm also a nursing student, soon to be a nurse, and I need a good pair of walking shoes for walking up and down hallways for 8 hours at a time. They feel great on my feet and are super soft inside. Great arch support. My feet feel great after an 8 hour clinical rotation. Love them!

I have been wearing New Balance for 20 years. This 812 is the worst shoe I have ever bought. There is no roll bar in this shoe only an imprint of one; nothing at all like the 811. Will not buy another pair of your shoes.

My daughter has worn this brand and style of shoe for years. They are perfect for private school required white shoes. She says they are the most comfortable and supportive shoes she has ever worn. I personally like them because they clean easily with simple green (that gets all of the playground dirt off). They must be fabulous because she has worn them all the way from fourth grade through eleventh grade, where she is today.

After putting these shoes on, I had to loosen the laces completely to try to get some space, but the tightness and rubbing was around the toebox, not higher. They also seemed snug compared to other New Balance shoes this size I've owned in the past. Am currently looking at other shoes, really appreciate Zappos return policy!

This is the shoe I use for Curves workouts. It gives me stability on the platforms and on the machines. Zappos is the only place I can buy my size, because none of the local stores carry half sizes over 10, and I always wear 10.5 AA. Thank you, Zappos!
