My active Mom who is 87 was having trouble tying her shoes, so I needed something that would be easy for her to put on herself. But I also wanted it to be comfortable, supportive and not look too utilitarian or stand out too much. These shoes fill the bill in every respect. She loves them and wears them so often I bought her another pair in a different color.

Zappos never lets me down. I can\'t think as fast as they can deliver. My shoes are exactly what the ad said. I have worn New Balance for over 10 years, and I don\'t expect to change. They fit perfectly and are soooo comfortable.

The New Balance Shoes I purchased from Zappos recently (this was my third or fourth time to buy this style) are really good walking shoes. They are comfortable and last a long time. Because I wear them for gardening, when they get soiled inside, I just toss them in the washer with some towels or small rugs and wash them. They come out fine and are ready for another turn in the garden. I love the velcro fasteners. The shoes really last.

This is the first time I have ordered shoes online. I can tell you I am extremely pleased that I did. Not only did Zappos have my size (I need a wide or extra wide witdth), they were shipped in record time! The shoes are very comfortable and allow for some swelling of my feet without being uncomfortable. They are not the cutest thing on the block, but I bought them for comfort in walking, and they do the trick! I will definitely be back to shop for more.

These are very comfortable shoes. Anyone on their feet a lot should try them out. The wide width is a bonus for us that have the need for a wider shoe. I bought them in the white with a pink breast cancer awareness ribbon on the tongue to show my support. They are also very sporty and look good with my jogging suits when I go to my son's football games. Zappo's is a great place to shop. If you want excellent customer service and free shippng, then this is the place for you.

I am very pleased with my new shoes and will be ordering another pair soon. I have ordered from Zappos and have never has a problem with them. They are prompt in filling orders. I have never had to return anything. I highly recommend Zappos.

I love these shoes. This is the third pair I have purchased. I work on my feet every day; they are super comfortable, even after a long 10 hour day. They are not cute or pretty, but they are well made and my feet or back does not hurt at the end of the day.

Zappos is the best! My order arrived and I wasn\'t sure if the size was right for me. I contacted them and they immediately sent me another size and I was able to compare and they didn\'t charge me for the second pair. I returned one pair and when they received it they sent me \r\nemail and I appreciated not having two pair of shoes on my charge card. I love my Hook & Loop\r\nNew Balance shoes. They are very comfortable and I put them on and wore them the entire day - they didn\'t need breaking in at all. Thanks, Zappos!

First I ordered my normal size 8,5 wide (I have wide feet) but had to exchange for 8 medium. Size 8,5 wide was too big. The shoes are comfy and cute with my scrubs. Zappos service is super! Don't want to shop anywhere else.

I have to wear a brace and have a very hard time getting a shoe to fit me. I ordered The NB shoe and love it. I loved the fit so much I reordered it so I would have a spare. The shoe is very comfortable, and the style of it is very nice looking. If you want a comfortable shoe I recommend buying this one! The service at Zappos is excellent and I would recommend this store definitely!

My mother has bad arthritis, her feet are wide, she has been having hard time to find the right kind of shoes that fit and feel comfortable. Finally we bought her this New Balance in wide that fit her feet very well, and she has been wearing them everyday.

I can put my orthotics in with no problem. Wore them all day with no problem. Highly recommend this sneaker for the "older" woman. Anyone who has balance issues and loves to walk would do well with this shoe

I've been wearing the same shoes for years with laces and these are the second ones I've gotten with velcro. Very comfortable and very easy to adjust, and to take one and off.

I recently had to start wearing Superfeet orthotics as a recommendation from a podiatrist. I needed a shoe to accommodate them. I'm like a kid and my shoes are always coming untied, so I decided to try the Hook/Loop straps. They came in wide width. I've been wearing them every day since I bought them. They are great for accommodating the orthotics and very comfortable. Not too soft, with good support. I bought a wide width so I'd have room, and the heel slips a bit on my foot, but if I keep the straps tight, not too much. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Good walking shoe -
I had hip surgery 3 months ago and was trying to go on walks in regular shoes...bad idea! I tried these because of the Velcro fasteners and the wide toe-bed...they're great! Very, very stable - I don't feel like I'm walking off the shoe on uneven ground. Good support, good fit with medium-thick socks. A keeper!
