I buy New Balance all the time, but I buy a size larger but narrower than the rest of my shoes because they run so much shorter or maybe I just wear thicker socks with these. I'm wearing them for hospital work and they seem to be working out just fine. I also wear different New Balance for walking in the neighborhood (hills) and hiking (moderate mountain hiking). I think they are predictably sturdy and long lasting.

Perfect, as usual! I have never been disappointed in New Balance shoes. These were comfortable the minute I put them on. Very supportive for big (12) feet.

I love these shoes. In the past few years, I have ordered almost all of my shoes from Zappos. They are efficient and I always get them quickly. I had a pair I needed to return because I needed a different size and there were no questions asked. I will continue to buy my shoes in the fturue from this company.

Shoes are fine, good for old feet, not the most stylish in the world, but I bought them for comfort. Price not the cheapest, but reasonable with the free shipping consideration.

I have been wearing the New Balance WW811 shoe for years. This shoe fits me well and I love it! It is a very comfortable shoe and wears well. I always have a hard time finding shoes, and once I do, I always keep an extra pair on hand. I like to wear black ones in the winter and white for the rest of the year.

I love these shoes. I have worn them almost exclusively for a number of years to teach music and movement classes and for shopping and for walking in general. I have white and black. Black looks very good with black jeans and for winter. White looks very good with shorts and for summer. I have very short and wide feet, and these shoes are perfect. My actual foot-size does not really exist, but these shoes are very close! Wide toe box and not too long for me to trip over. Perfect!

I need to have white sneakers for work. This is the third pair of these same sneakers I have purchased from this site. True to size with room in the toe box. Can also fit well with an orthotic. I still have the other two pair that I keep for working in the yard and have actually washed them in the washing machine with no problem. Thanks, Zappos, for your excellent service and ease of return for products I have purchased that weren't exactly right. Customer service at its best.

I am a busy nurse. We do not have carpet in our facility. I am not little. These shoes are very comfortable and look nice all the time. I get them from Shoebuy for my best friend, too. Love these shoes! New Balance has the width I require, the size I need and the quality I expected. They needed no break-in and seem to be very sturdy. For me these 811s are great work/utility shoes, maybe not stylish enough for weekends. Oh yeah, thanks Zappos, for the supersonic shipping.

I have worn New Balance for years. There is something to the balance beside the name. I am 75 and I have never fallen with these shoes, but have with others. This shoe is made in America, that means something to me. I should point out that I always have to get the top of the line to be totally satisfied.

The shoes I have purchased are the best shoes out of all that I own. They are so comfortable for wearing at my job. I would order another pair for work being that I am on my feet all day. They really are shoes that help my feet because of a problem I have with my heel. I would only order from Zappos from now on. Thank you for caring.

Wonderful website for shoes. The fact that you don't pay shipping means a lot when you're very hard to fit. We wasted money on other websites paying for shipping, only to have to pay shipping again to return the shoes because they didn't fit quite right. I'll keep using Zappos!

Very comfortable, no break in period needed. I have wide feet with bunions and no arch so finding a shoe that is comfortable is very important to me. These feel true to size. I wish they had some athletic shoes in brown though.

Second pair of these...not so beautiful, BUT, GREAT walking sneaker. I walk my dog in them daily, several miles. No more nagging pain in my knee or falling over a branch when it's dark outside! Highly recommend as a utility shoe, not a fashion shoe. Will buy again. Also, Made in USA!

A disappointing shoe from New Balance. My orthotics make my feet hurt in these shoes while they do not in others. I am not sure what the problem is. Too late to return them since I had to wear them many times before the problem became obvious. I have a narrow foot, but ordered a B width. That usually takes care of any orthotic fitting issues. I am puzzled by the whole thing. These are my first full-length custom orthotics that are also "treating" Morton's neuroma. In the past I had 3/4 orthotics for pronation and heel spurs. Maybe that is the problem. The toe-box may not be big enough.

I love these shoes. I have hip and back problems and they are always much better when I wear my shoes all day. They make a huge difference in the way I feel, and my pain level is much less, too.
