Since the days of selling arch supports to police officers and waiters, New Balance has been a brand concerned with meeting the needs of the everyday athlete. In pursuing this goal, they developed an "Endorsed By No One" philosophy, which holds that a superior product will sell itself better than any superstar athlete ever could. Part of producing New Balance shoes and athletic clothing is manufacturing it to fit all widths and sizes, because a better fit produces better performance.
To ensure the best fitting, best performing shoes and clothes, New Balance focuses on improving their technology and production methods. A big part of that is maintaining five manufacturing facilities here in the United States where they continue to produce New Balance shoes and apparel that meet the standards they've employed for 100 years. They have also remained committed to a core set of values that include integrity, teamwork and total customer satisfaction.

I work two jobs and I am on my feet 60+ hours a week. I bought these because I wanted something that felt a little more natural. These shoes feel great. Sizing was very true to standard fit (I wear 8.5 and it fits perfectly) and had plenty of room in the toe box which was a concern for me - I have toes that are shaped a little weird. The top of the shoe is a mesh that vents well and they have performed well as both work shoes and running shoes. My only complaint is that the felt is starting to pill already but can be easily fixed by running a dull shaving razor over it and trimming off the"fuzzies." All over a great shoe and I plan on ordering more of this exact fit.

I really want to love these shoes but quality doesn't show. The felt pieces at the toes started to pill and rub off within the first week. I have had these only 4 weeks now and the outer mesh has already ripped and started to run like a pair of tights. I only wear these indoors at work and they have not held up at all to New Balance standards. Cute and comfortable but already falling apart after a few weeks?! Not worth it.

They are very comfortable. I forget that I am wearing them. They do not look very sturdy so I wonder how long they will last, and I think the color combinations that they are available in are awful.

These shoes are very comfortable and feel very supportive. I am on my feet all day and I never have any pain or feel fatigued in my feet at the end of the day.

A wonderful and comfortable shoe but not made for power walks nor exercise. I bought this shoe thinking it was New Balance's answer to a minimalist styled Puma. I am disappointed that my toes hurt, due to lack of support.
