I bought these sneakers because my sneakers that I just bought hurt my archers. They would ache at night. My feet feel great with these New Balance sneakers.

I'm a heavy overpronator, and I jog/walk 30 minutes daily, so I usually need new running shoes every 4-6 months or else I get knee and lower back pain. I got these about a month ago and so far so good. New Balance are the best running shoes I've found for me. This pair was a little bit roomy, but I wear thick socks to run, so it isn't a problem. Some people may want to try down a half size.

Love this shoe! Great arch support, light and airy for toasty, hot summers except squish with every step you take. So annoying. Squeak! Replaced the insoles with over the counter types and you can still hear me coming an aisle away. Squish, squeak, splash!

This is the best NB show I've ever had. It's my go to shoe for days I'm going to be on my feet a lot and of course whenever I go for a "serious" walk. Hope it's never changed or discontinued.

I bought these to replace a pair of 1221s and specifically because they were touted for over-pronators and made with a SL-1 last, like the 1221s. These are not the same quality. They have no arch support, I pronate in them, and they are very wide in front. I did not feel secure running in these shoes. Perhaps I got a bad pair - or perhaps the quality has gone down. Will be returning them and trying a different style.

This shoe is so cute and I was very excited to find a shoe that comes in 2E and is cute. However I have done some research and it is the last that makes the difference. This shoe is a SL-1 which means it is standard fit heel to toe only wide. I found I need a lst called sl-2 that is standard in the heel but a wider toe box.

I am a 20-30 mile per week runner. They are an OK shoe if you need lots of rigidity. I found that they were too heavy and not flexible enough. I try not to run in them too often. I have other favorite shoes.
Brands I'd also recommend: Mizuno, Brooks

This shoe fits great. I've read about "lasts," and this one must be the one I need. The heel area fits comfortably snug while the toe area has room for my toes to move. It's also comfortable to walk in, although I haven't yet given it a serious workout, as I just got them last week.

This is a comfy, well supported shoe, which is crucial as I have custom orthotics which fit nicely. I have had foot surgery and this allows my foot comfort and less pain.
